Xiangtan Shigu Ma Xie's Liangxiang Pavilion

Liangxiang Pavilion is located on Yazhu 'ao at the junction of Dingfeng Village, Shigu Town, Xiangtan County and Fuxi Village, Jingzi Town, Shuangfeng County, with an altitude of more than 500 meters. Shuangfeng county used to belong to Xiangxiang county, which is the junction of Xiangxiang and Xiangtan counties, hence the name "Liangxiang Pavilion".

Liangxiang Pavilion is an arched granite building. The pavilion is 2 meters high and covers an area of about 40 square meters. There are stone tables and benches for pedestrians to rest. The pavilion has an arched door to the east and west, and the mountain road connecting the two doors is a stone step with a width of more than 2 meters. With the East Gate, the sunrise is considerable, and under the stone steps is the beautiful Tongliang Reservoir (Shigu Town, Xiangtan County). Relying on the west gate, you can smell the flowing water of Fuxi, and the rolling mountains form a green barrier with charming scenery. There is a stone tablet on the top of Ximen Pavilion, which is engraved with the three characters of "Liangxiang Pavilion".

Yazhu 'ao is the only way from Dingfeng Village in Shigu Town to Lotus Leaf and Jingzi to Nanyue. After going to the depression, you need to climb the "Yiziling" on the long mountain at an altitude of more than 750 meters. The mountain is sparsely populated and there is nowhere to rest. It is said that the family of Zeng Guofan, a famous minister of ZTE in Qing Dynasty, donated money to build a pavilion and a 50-kilometer-long stone road. The opening time of the museum is no longer available, but the words "April 20" on Simon's right post are still discernible. Legend has it that there are two new pavilions on the top of the "Yiziling" of two fragrant pavilions, one is called Waxin Pavilion, and the other is called Maoxin Pavilion. Unfortunately, there are only legends and place names left in these two new pavilions.

Not far from the west gate of Liangxiang Pavilion, there is a big tree that five people can't hold together. The locals call it "chicken claw tree". Its branches are like chicken feet, and the result is more like chicken feet. This kind of tree is a deciduous tree, its fruit does not germinate and its roots do not grow branches. The "Lu Chong An Tang" in the Ming Dynasty was built next to the tree. By the end of 1940s, there were more than 65,438+000 monks, who were only dismantled in the Great Leap Forward. Legend has it that the "Chicken Claw Tree" was planted by monks when buddhist nun was built. Hundreds of years later, this "chicken claw" is still isolated from the forest and has no "offspring". Therefore, "Liangxiang Pavilion" and "Chicken Claw Tree" have become protected cultural relics.
