Botswana: Experience the Tour of Eco-friendly Animals

When the first sunshine in the morning climbed the Job National Park in Botswana, our group got on the Land Rover and started an animal sightseeing tour. On other hunting trips in Africa, you may hear the noise of diesel engines, which undoubtedly breaks the tranquility of dawn. However, this morning, the guide led us to leave quietly on an electric car to see sleeping elephants and lions.

This wildlife viewing is a unique trip, because all the vehicles involved in the whole journey use electricity, which is provided by the Victoria Falls hydropower network in South Africa. Liz Taylor, a famous American movie star, likes this forest zoo very much. She has been there many times and even had a romantic wedding with richard burton by the river in the park. In addition, it only takes 90 minutes from the national park to Victoria Falls on the border, which is very convenient.

4. Eco-tourism, silent voice

Most hotels are located at the border of national parks. Visitors who live here need to leave half an hour early. There will be an electric car tour in the morning and an electric boat tour in the afternoon. The tour guides here are all women, which is a major feature of African tourist hotels. Albert, 62, is an experienced tour guide who is generally responsible for ecotourism. Her tour guide has a unique style and often leads tourists to some wonderful places, such as kitchen, laundry room and other places that tourists usually don't set foot in. Albert gets excited at the mention of ecological protection. She said that this is our park and we have a responsibility to protect it. I lead my tourists to recycle glass bottles, reuse waste water in the park, and turn abandoned food into biogas for cooking, which is very meaningful.

In the afternoon, we took a boat trip and felt the tranquility of nature again. When the electric boat came to the corner, we saw elephants, African osprey and crocodiles sunbathing by the river.
