1. Registration requirements?

2. Registration procedures?

(2) Review of registration information?
From 9:00 on August 20 to 17:00 on September 18, 2020, the Autonomous Region Culture and Tourism Department will organize the review of the application submitted by the candidates. Registration information will be reviewed. After the registration information is reviewed and approved, the candidate's registration information will no longer be changed. ?
(3) Payment
Candidates must pay the fee after passing the registration information review. The deadline is 17:00 on September 25, 2020. After the fee is successfully paid, if the candidate is unable to take the exam due to personal reasons, no refund will be given.
(4) Download the admission ticket?
From 9:00 on November 6, 2020, candidates can download the admission ticket through the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination online registration system and print it by themselves. Candidates who fail to pass the review of registration information or have not paid the fee cannot download the admission ticket.
3. Examination subjects and examination syllabus?
Candidates applying for the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination must take both the written examination and the on-site examination (interview). Candidates who have obtained the Chinese "tour guide qualification certificate" and need to switch to a foreign language (hereinafter referred to as "additional examination candidates") only need to take the on-site examination (interview). The written examination will be conducted in the form of computer-based examination. The subjects are policies and laws and regulations (subject 1), tour guide business (subject 2), basic knowledge of national tour guides (subject 3), and basic knowledge of local tour guides (subject 4). The on-site examination (interview) subjects are Tour guide service ability (subject five). Among them, subjects one and two are combined into one test paper for testing, and subjects three and four are combined into one test paper for testing. Each test paper has a full score of 100 points, and the test time is 90 minutes. The on-site examination (interview) shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "National Tour Guide Qualification Examination On-site Examination Work Standards (Trial)". The on-site examination (interview) of Subject 5 will be conducted via computer-based examination. The exam will be held from November 14th to 16th. Please refer to the admission ticket for the specific exam time.
5. Examination Locations
The district has set up four examination centers in Yining City, Urumqi City, Kashgar City, and Karamay City to conduct written examinations and on-site examinations (interviews). Candidates for additional exams and foreign language on-site exams can register to take the exam at the above four test centers. Please see the admission ticket for specific exam location details.
6. Charges
The Autonomous Region Department of Culture and Tourism shall implement the relevant regulations of the autonomous region’s financial and price authorities.
7. Announcement of Examination Results
Candidates are considered qualified if their written examination scores, on-site examination (interview) scores and total scores all meet the marking requirements. Candidates who take the additional examination will be considered qualified if their on-site examination (interview) scores meet the marking requirements. Candidates' test scores are valid for that year.
From 9:00 on March 1, 2021, candidates can log in to the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Online Registration System to check the exam results.
8. Review of test results?
If candidates need to review their test results, they can submit a request to the provincial culture and tourism department within 5 working days from the date of release of the test results. If the administrative department submits a review application, the review result will be final and will no longer be reviewed. The review of examination results shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Management Measures (Trial)".
9. Certificate Issuance
For candidates who pass the examination, the Autonomous Region Culture and Tourism Department will issue a "Tour Guide Qualification Certificate".
