Jingxian County is located in the south of Anhui Province and the west of Xuancheng City. It was founded in the 24th year of Qin Dynasty (223 BC). Located in the northern mountainous area of southern Anhui, there are few mountains in the territory. The rest of Huangshan Mountain extends to the southeast of the county seat, and Jiuhua Mountain branches meander to the northwest.
