There is no need to transfer, I have done so several times. You can go directly to the East Railway Station (south of Xinxiang Yinji), take bus No. 801 and wait to buy a ticket at the station. You can also wait for the bus to Daokou from Xinxiang at the Old Pingyuan University, and just get off at Fengzhuang.
