Phase II Planning of Lintong Line 9

Xi' an and Lintong Metro Lines 9 are expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 22. On June 18th, the left tunnel of Xi' an Metro Line 9 from Xiangwang Station to Fangyuan No.3 Station began to be tunneled by shield, which is also the first shield project of Xi' an Metro under Bahe River. The total length of the project is 1,22 meters, and the deepest is 24 meters. After five months, it will be excavated from the south bank of Bahe River, providing conditions for the whole line of Metro Line 9 to be opened.

Xi' an Metro Line 9 starts from Textile City Station, the terminal of Metro Lines 1 and 6, and ends at Qinhan Avenue Station in Lintong District. The total length of the line is 25.3 kilometers, with 15 stations, passing through Baqiao and Lintong administrative regions and Lintong Qujiang National Tourism and Leisure Resort. It is expected that the whole line will be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 22.

According to the route of Metro Line 9, Baqiao District and Lintong District, these two urban areas will benefit first after Metro Line 9 is put into operation.

Baqiao District: Textile City Station, Xiangwang, Fangyuan No.3 Road, Tianwang, Hong Qing and Zi Xia No.3 Road, ***6 stops. In the future, when Metro Line 9 is officially put into operation, the cost performance of the new housing projects in Textile East Area and Hong Qing Area will be further improved.

Lintong District: University Town, Sanatorium, Huaqingchi, Guangchang Road, North Second Ring Road, Qinhan Avenue, Zi Xia No.1 Road, Zhiyang No.5 Road and Zhiyang Square. There are 9 stops of Metro Line 9 in Lintong District. Lintong District is one of the three sub-centers in Xi 'an, which undertakes the functions of population diversion, industrial transfer, tourism, holiday and old-age housing in the central city. At present, the connection with the main city of Xi 'an depends on Lianhuo Expressway and provincial highway, and the means of transportation mainly rely on public transportation, special tourist lines and self-driving cars, which is inconvenient. In the future, when Metro Line 9 is put into operation, the distance between Lintong District and the main city of Xi 'an will be shortened, and it will become normal to live and work in Xi 'an in Lintong.

The section of this project is 122m long, and the deepest tunnel is 24 m. Compared with the project of Xi 'an Metro Line 1 crossing the _ River, the risk sources are more and more complicated, and the requirements of shield tunneling technology are higher. It is expected that the shield section under Bahe River will be completed before the end of November.
