20 18 Dunhuang Travel Guide

Dunhuang is an important stronghold of the ancient western regions, and it is also the link between the Central Plains culture and the countries in the western regions. The cultural characteristics here are extremely advanced in aesthetic feeling and sense of mix and match. It is a popular tourist destination for China people. Here, I would like to share with you the travel strategy of the 20 18 Dunhuang road trip.

I don't know what kind of charm Dunhuang has, which fascinates me so much. I don't know why many people around me are clamoring to go to Dunhuang. The expression on their faces seems to be saying something.

A devout pilgrimage.

Crescent spring is curved with a clear spring, rippling and blue as jade. Spring is in quicksand, the drought is not over, and the wind blows sand, which is a spectacle. As early as the Han Dynasty, Crescent Moon Spring has long been famous. This is definitely a miracle in the desert. The shape of the crescent moon has been like this for thousands of years; The environment is sinister, and there are clear springs; In the sand sea, but not submerged by the sand sea; In spring, there are all kinds of herbs to cure diseases and save lives, which have been passed down through the ages. Please come and protect the environment. The water level of Crescent Moon Spring drops every year. I don't know if I will be lucky enough to see you again in the future.

Basic information of Dunhuang tourism:

Famous scenic spots in Dunhuang: Mogao Grottoes, Mingsha Mountain, Crescent Spring, Yumenguan and Yangguan.

Dunhuang Airport: Dunhuang Airport

Dunhuang Railway Station: Dunhuang Railway Station

To me, Dunhuang is like a dream without fireworks. I yearn for it, but at the same time I am more afraid to lift its veil.

Before I went to Dunhuang, my understanding of Dunhuang was still confined to flying murals, hidden springs in the sand plains, camel bells in the desert and the Silk Road, but only these were enough for me to outline a beautiful Dunhuang for myself.

In the afterglow of the sunset, our car is driving on the endless desert highway. When I passed by Yangguan, I looked at the scenery in front of me and remembered two famous sentences of Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei: "Advise you to drink more and go out to Yangguan for no reason."

Yangguan is a border checkpoint established in Han Dynasty. Since ancient times, too many poets have expressed your feelings about where you will go and your home country with the Yangguan frontier fortress as the background. When the sunset touches the horizon, the last ray of sunshine shines in people's eyes with endless sadness.

Our first stop was the Crescent Spring in Mingsha Mountain, which originated from Yu Xiansheng's essay "Hidden Springs in the Sand Plain". At that time, in the 1990s, it should not be listed as a national scenic spot.

Otherwise, why does Mr. Yu's article reflect deep tranquility and serenity throughout, without the shadow of tickets and tourists? There seems to be no one around, only one person is lonely, focusing on his feet and front.

When we come back, it can't be like this. Book a room, eat fast food, buy tickets, solve these mundane things we have to do, and we enter the scenic spot. As soon as I entered the gate, I saw a large wave of tourists wearing shoe covers. Bright colors are very dazzling.

Colorful silk scarves are fluttering in the wind, and it is rare to see what the face behind them looks like.

Look at us. We haven't prepared anything. Suddenly regretted not bringing a shoe cover and scarf. I blame myself for being too generous, but it's not a bad thing not to take those. Anyway, enjoy it!

Far away, I saw the sand mountain. Many people are climbing the escalator. Many people are at the top of Shashan Mountain. There are also many people who don't take the usual path and move slowly like ants.

Watching camels come and go in the desert is a bit like the Silk Road, although it is charged for tourists to ride. We also want to experience the experience. When asked about the price, 100 yuan/person, we hesitated, struggled repeatedly, and finally gave up. Later, we never rode a camel again. )

Go to the right and you will find Crescent Moon Spring. Soft sand looks gentle as water, but it's hard to walk, and it's hard to walk. After a few steps, the sand got into my light white shoes, which was embarrassing. Then the curved crescent spring appeared in front of us. I don't know why, but there is a big beach next to it.

It is said that the crescent spring has lost its life and is maintained by water injection. I don't know if it's true or not. Crescent Moon Spring is no longer a humble room, but a pavilion. In my humble opinion, maybe it is more artistic to keep that old house!

Looking at the sand mountain that is not too high, I am a little scared. The winding footprints and the straight escalators all look steep. But curiosity overcame fear, so I got up the courage and began to climb up the escalator. If there is no escalator, climbing sand mountain is really a great physical activity. Three steps can take two steps back, and your feet are in the sand, just like being trapped gently. It's easy to get in and out. From time to time, someone will come down from the escalator. The escalator is very narrow, so you must be careful to stagger it before you can move on. At that time, the wind blew and the sand came at me, so I had to bury my head in my arms. Let the sand hit you, slide down your neck and get into your clothes.

I finally reached the top of the mountain and looked at the people below, just like ants. Crescent spring, like a curved moon, is embedded in this desert and will never wither. There is also a desert in the distance behind the mountain, and Dunhuang is an oasis in this desert.

Sitting on the top of the mountain, whistling in the wind and sand, emptying yourself and feeling the change of time, this mountain and this spring are always there.

Although it was a challenge for me, I went down much faster. Dump the sand from your shoes and can't wait to rest in the pavilion. Although it's over, it stays on your feet like sand, which is a gentle infatuation.

After we went back, everyone immediately took a hot bath and washed away the remaining sand, which was refreshing.

Let's talk about the Mogao Grottoes again. Mogao Grottoes, also known as Thousand Buddha Cave, is a corridor of Buddhist art and culture. It is said that in 366 AD, a monk named Le Zun swam to the foot of Mingsha Mountain. At that time, when the sun was setting, he suddenly saw the golden light on the Sanwei Mountain, as if there were thousands of golden buddhas flashing.

Yue Zun was shocked and moved, thinking that this place is the holy land of Buddha, so he made a worship and made up his mind to worship Buddha and practice and dig caves here. After that, for more than 1000 years, Buddhist monks, officials, ordinary people and businessmen came here to donate money to open caves, and worshippers came in an endless stream and incense continued.

It was dark in the cave to protect murals and Buddha statues from light damage. Walking in, the most conspicuous thing is the Buddha statue in the middle wall, with soft lines, gorgeous colors and solemn and serene posture.

Then look around, you can see that every inch of the wall is painted with exquisite murals, including landscapes, Buddha statues, Buddhist stories and so on. Although its color has become dull and not gorgeous with the passage of time, it is conceivable that it used to be colorful.

It is a pity that such a splendid cultural treasure house was once prosperous, but it suffered too many hardships in the historical changes. After years of baptism, foreigners looted and scarred, but they were left alone on this sandy rock wall, complaining.

In fact, walking among the bustling tourists, even if there is a tour guide, even if you watch a beautifully made promotional film, you can't get the message and calm down and feel it. Only when I leave it can I remember its outline, its history and everything about it gradually become clear in my mind.

When you walk into Dunhuang, you will dissect it piece by piece, recall it from a distance, and it will be complete and charming.
