Self-service endorsement process for Hong Kong and Macau Passes
Step 1: Insert the self-service application machine readable code upwards from the photo page barcode of the "Permit to Travel to and from Hong Kong and Macau". (If the information cannot be read, please choose manual entry.)
Step 2: After the system displays the information, please check whether it is correct and confirm.
Step 3: Select the type of endorsement you need to apply for and confirm.
Step 4: Select the number of trips to and from Hong Kong and/or Macau and confirm.
Step 5: If the application is approved, please select "Save" and the system will print the "Self-Service Application Form" and "Payment Notice". If you do not meet the self-service application conditions, the system will prompt you to apply at the counter.
Step 6: Check the "Self-Service Application Form" and "Application Receipt" printed by the self-service application machine. If they are correct, sign the application form.
Step 7: Pay the fee at the bank charge office with the "Payment Notice". If you need to handle postal express delivery, go to the postal counter after paying the fee. After submitting the application form, postal express delivery will not be reissued.
Step 8: After paying the fee or completing the postal express delivery, hand over the "Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao" and the completed "Self-service Application Form" and "Application Receipt" before 17:00 on the same day. Big counter.

How long does it take for the Hong Kong and Macau Pass to expire?
The validity period of the Hong Kong and Macau Pass is divided into two types: 5 years and 10 years. 5 years for applicants under 16 years old and 10 years for applicants over 16 years old. The Hong Kong and Macau Pass is a travel document issued by the National Exit-Entry Administration to residents of mainland China traveling to Hong Kong or Macau for private purposes, visiting relatives, engaging in business, training, employment, studying abroad and other non-official activities.
The Home Return Permit for Hong Kong and Macao compatriots is kept by the holder and is valid for ten years. It can be used multiple times during the validity period. If the validity period has expired or the verification pages have been used up, you can get a new certificate. Application for a new certificate shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of these Measures.
Application process for Hong Kong and Macao passes
1. Submit the application. Applicants can make an appointment online in advance to apply, or apply directly on-site, fill in the Chinese Citizen Entry-Exit Document Application Form in accordance with the regulations, and prepare the relevant supporting materials that need to be submitted;
2. Digital photography. Applicants need to submit two digital photos of themselves, which can be taken directly on site;
3. Collect fingerprints. Applicants must collect or verify fingerprints under the guidance of staff. For applicants under 16 years of age, whether to collect fingerprints will be determined based on the opinions of their guardians. After collection, they will receive a number and wait for processing;
4. Accept the application. The staff will conduct a preliminary review of the materials submitted by the applicant and issue a payment slip to the applicant;
5. Pay the fee. Applicants go to the designated window to pay the fees required for certificate application and endorsement. The certificate production fee is 100 yuan. The endorsement fee depends on the type of endorsement, and receive a receipt;
6. Make the certificate. After accepting the application, the exit and entry management agency of the provincial public security organ is responsible for producing the electronic Hong Kong and Macao pass and returning the prepared certificate to the entry and exit management agency that accepted the application;
7. Issuing the certificate. After the certificate is produced, the applicant should go to the entry-exit management agency to collect the certificate; if you choose to receive it by express delivery, you only need to wait for the courier to come to sign for it.
