Zhaojin Xiangshan is a national key cultural relics protection unit, a national Danxia Geopark, a national patriotic education base, a national defense education base and one of the 1 national red tourism classic scenic spots.

There are main exhibition halls, special exhibition halls and multi-function halls in the memorial hall of Shaanxi-Gansu frontier revolutionary base, which show the revolutionary history of Shaanxi-Gansu frontier in various forms, such as pictures, texts, objects, real scenes, high technology and sand tables. Daxiangshan Temple has a long history. It was founded in Fuqin and flourished in Yaoqin. Fudi Lake Scenic Area has a semi-humid and semi-arid climate, with a vegetation coverage rate of over 96%, four distinct seasons and moderate light and heat. There are also rich historical and cultural relics in the scenic area, including Hedong Neolithic Site, Yushe Yangshao Cultural Site and Yushe Theater, as well as Buddhist and Taoist caves-Fudi Grottoes and Niujiazhuang Grottoes.
