Baiyangdian Scenic Area Introduction

Baiyangdian, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, relies on the Lotus Grand View Garden and Baiyangdian Cultural Park to become the most beautiful cultural business card in the hinterland of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

Baiyangdian Scenic Area is 162 kilometers from Beijing to the north, 189 hours from Shijiazhuang to the south, and 155 kilometers from Tianjin to the east. It has a temperate continental monsoon climate. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Dianqu was under the jurisdiction of Yan and Zhao, and the Yishui Great Wall was used as the dividing line between the two countries. South Gecheng belongs to Zhao, and Northern Hun City belongs to Yan, so it is called "Yanbei".

In 2002, Baiyangdian was listed as a Wetland Nature Reserve in Hebei Province. In 2005, Baiyangdian was listed as one of China's top ten red tourist attractions. It is the only remaining part of the ancient Baiyangdian Lake in the waters. Its geographical coordinates are 3844'-3859' north latitude and 11545'-11626' east longitude. It is known as the "Pearl of North China" and the "West Lake of the North".

Topography: The landform features of Baiyangdian are formed by repeated evolution from sea to lake and from lake to land. The structure of the water body is different from the inland lakes in southern my country and the artificial reservoirs in the north. It is a scene where various lakes are connected by many rivers to form rivers and lakes, rather than being connected together.

Clear climate: typical temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Spring is dry and windy, summer is hot and rainy, autumn is refreshing, and winter is cold and snowy. The average temperature is 12.1, the sunshine is 2638.3 hours, and the frost-free period is 203 days.

The Baiyangdian Scenic Area collects water from nine rivers at the foot of the Taihang Mountains in the upper reaches, forming a group of 146 large and small lakes connected by more than 3,700 ditches and rivers. There are 36 villages on the islands and lakeside. If you come to Baiyangdian Scenic Area, you can not only experience the feeling of sailing in the ditch in the lake, but also see the vast lake after the reed harvest in autumn.
