Tourism consumption composition

Tourism consumption is a higher level of consumption demand that arises after people’s basic living needs are met. It includes the following five aspects: health tourism consumption, basic tourism consumption, cultural tourism consumption, hedonic tourism consumption and commemorative tourism consumption. It is closely related to tourists’ income level and tourist structure, as well as to tourism product structure and product quality. Tourism consumption is an important way to satisfy people's curiosity, love of learning, adventure, challenge, and sense of pride. In tourist attractions that are completely different from daily life, tourists can gain a variety of novel experiences with all their senses and relax their minds.

Consumption components include: travel expenses, accommodation expenses, food consumption, purchase of souvenirs and local products, tickets and recreational seats, photography expenses, daily living expenses, tour guide service fees, and others.
