Vienna, known as the "City of Music", has become a famous cultural tourism center in Europe with the remains of many famous musicians. Prague, Venice, Louvre and Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes have also become world-famous cultural tourist attractions, holding concerts, film festivals or art festivals respectively. Among various forms of cultural tourism, nostalgic cultural tourism with the theme of experiencing some lifestyles that have disappeared but still remain in people's memory is one of the most popular theme tourism projects. For example, Williamsburg, an ancient American city located between the James River and the York River, has completely preserved the urban features of the British colonial era in the18th century, making tourists feel that time has gone back more than 200 years, thus becoming one of the most important historical sites in the United States: Jingzhou Ancient City, Song Cheng in Hangzhou, Grand View Garden in Beijing, Hubu Lane in Wuhan, etc. have all become prosperous cultural tourist attractions by simulating ancient lifestyles.

Cultural tourism is neither a product nor a tourism culture. The so-called cultural tourism lies in culture and tourism is just a form. The "culture" of cultural tourism should be interpreted as the definition of the utility and purpose of tourism.
