abstract
Jinci, one of the national key cultural relics protection units, is located at the foot of Xuanweng Mountain, 25 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan City. Jinci Temple was originally built to commemorate Tang Shuyu, the founding monarch of Jin State. The founding date is no longer available. Tang Shuyu Temple (Jinci Temple) was recorded in the Notes on Water Classics by Li Daoyuan in the Northern Wei Dynasty, which shows that it was quite famous at that time. Jinci Temple is now a tourist attraction of classical gardens in China, with dozens of ancient buildings.
There are many cultural relics in Jinci, among which Notre Dame and 42 handmaiden statues are famous. Notre Dame Hall is the main body of Jinci Temple and the oldest building in Jinci Temple (built in the Northern Song Dynasty). Height19m, 7 rooms wide and 6 rooms deep, surrounded by cloisters. The architect thinks this temple is a masterpiece of architecture in the Song Dynasty.
The towering ancient trees in Jinci are also impressive. Bai Zhou, also known as "Qi Nianbai", is said to have been planted in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Because of age, the tree has tilted about 40 degrees to the south, but it is still full of vitality. Sui Huai is in the Guandi Temple in the shrine, where the old branches are intertwined and the branches are flourishing. Difficult old spring, known as "the first spring in Jinyang", is also called "the three wonders of Jinci" with the maid statue and Qi Nianbai.

history
Jinci Temple, formerly known as Tang Shuyu Temple, was built to commemorate Tang Shuyu, the founding emperor of Jin State. Its history can be traced back to the Western Zhou Dynasty in 1 1 century BC, and Zhou Wuwang died seven years later. In order to become king, his eldest son recited the right to inherit the throne. Because he became king at a young age, his uncle Dan acted as the son of heaven, which was called "Duke of Zhou Regent" in history.
During the period of "Duke Zhou's Regency", the system of land enfeoffment was implemented, and a certain amount of land was distributed to children and their families as vassals according to military and political needs. Sima Qian, a historian of the Han Dynasty, recorded in detail the fact that his younger brother was made a vassal of the Tang Dynasty with a story of "beheading Dong and sealing his younger brother" in Jin Shu Shi Jia. When he became king, Tang Guofeng rebelled in Wu Geng, and the Duke of Zhou personally led troops to Tang to stop the rebellion. One day later, Wang Cheng and his brother Yu Shu were playing games in the yard. Wang Cheng picked up a plane tree leaf from the ground and cut it into the shape of laurel. He said to Yu Shu: Give you this jade laurel and make you a vassal of the Tang Dynasty! Wei Shi, who stood by, heard this, so he asked the king to choose an auspicious day to hold a packet ceremony. Wang Cheng said, "I'm playing games with Yu Shu!" "Wei Shi said," The son of heaven is not joking. Since he said it, he should be included in the history books and celebrated with music, songs and dances. The ceremony completed him. " So when he became king, he sealed Yu Shu to the Tang Dynasty and became a vassal.
After Yu Shu came to Tang State, he worked hard to govern the country. Using Shanxi water, irrigation and water conservancy were built, and agriculture was vigorously developed, so that the people of the Tang Dynasty lived in peace and contentment and lived a rich life. In this way, in the next 700 years, the weather will be good and the country will be rich and the people will be safe. After Yu Shu's death, a man chose this beautiful place to build an ancestral temple to worship him and named it Tang Shuyu Temple. Because water flowed through the territory, the Tang Dynasty was renamed Jin, and the ancestral hall was renamed Jinci for short.
Li Daoyuan, a geographer in the Northern Wei Dynasty, described the Jinci Temple at that time in "Notes on Water Classics": "There is a Tang Shuyu Temple in the west of the marsh, a cool hall on the water side, and the beam flies to the surface." Thus, as early as 1500 years ago, Jinci had a considerable scale. There are more than 0/00 buildings in Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, among which Notre Dame de Song, Fish Pond Flying Beam and Jin Dynasty Sacrificial Hall are recognized as three national treasures by the Ministry of Culture.
culture
For thousands of years, Jinci Temple has attracted countless literati and scholars with its long history and unique landscape, and also attracted emperors and princes in previous dynasties. These celebrities and scholars left more than 300 stone tablets for Jinci after the tour. Among them, Li Shimin Taizong's Preface to the Monument to Jinci is the best. In 646 AD, on the way back from an expedition to North Korea, Emperor Taizong led his ministers to revisit the Jinci Temple, thinking of Tang Shuyu who made a fortune in that year and blessed him to seize the country. He couldn't help thinking deeply and deeply. As a result, he personally wrote inscriptions and carved stones to set up monuments, leaving this historical monument representing his political views and wonderful calligraphy in his later years, which was later called another masterpiece with excellent writing after Wang Xizhi's Preface to Lanting.
1959, when Mr. Guo Moruo visited Jinci, he happily wrote a well-known poem "Visiting Jinci": "The holy end turned out to be a city of ginger and tung leaves. Sui Huai,,, Song Dian and Jing. Jade flows in Diaoweng Mountain Spring, and onions are honed in Feiliang Marsh. The statue of the forty palaces in the city is full of laughter. "
Secondly, there are Shanxi Provincial Museum, Notre Dame, Chongshan Temple, Shuangta Temple and other scenic spots, which I personally think are meaningless. You can go to Baidu to search for "Taiyuan Tourism". The museum and Chongshan Temple are in the urban area, Notre Dame is in Jinci, and Shuangta Temple is in the suburbs.
Considering the time, it is suggested to choose Jinci, Museum and Chongshan Temple instead of Shuangta Temple.
There is no shuttle bus at the railway station. Both the train and the bus are at the North Station. It is suggested to take the bullet train d 206 1 7:53 to Shijiazhuang North Station and 9: 1 1 to Taiyuan, with soft seats in 84 yuan and hard seats in 70 yuan. Return train D/KOOC-0/66 Taiyuan/KOOC-0/7:/KOOC-0/9, Shibei/KOOC-0/8: 33, or D20/KOOC-0/4 Taiyuan/KOOC-0/7: 46, Shibei/KOOC-0/9:.
Specialty: Taiyuan's mature vinegar is very famous, but the exquisite packaging can actually be bought all over the country, which makes no sense. If it's not for leadership, it's recommended to consider going to the canteen in residential areas to buy the three old vinegar, which is authentic. There is also Xiaomi in Shanxi, which is also very famous. It is beige, rich in rice oil, delicious and nutritious. Then recommend local snacks. There are also some buckwheat noodles similar to Shijiazhuang's "scones": wrist rest, enema and so on. Depending on your time, these things should be available in Liuxiang, Taiyuan (a pedestrian street near Yingze Street and Wuyi Square, only after that inquiry). It seems not far from the museum. These foods are delicious now, but they are not so delicious when they are brought back. Other things can be bought in local stores near Taiyuan Railway Station.
I don't know if the above information can help you, I hope it is useful.
