Duyun, located at the southern foot of Miao Ling Mountain in the south-central part of Guizhou Province, is the most advantageous city in Guizhou Province and even the whole southwest region, leading to the south China coast and connecting with the sea. It is the capital of Qiannan Prefecture with infinite scenery, and it is a garden city integrating mountains, water, bridges and gardens, with a forest coverage rate of 46.2%. Duyun is a provincial-level scenic spot, a national excellent tourist city, a national health first city, a national advanced sports city and a national registered "Bullfighting City in Western China". Duyun Maojian Tea, a city brand of Duyun, enjoys the reputation of "Renhuai Maotai Liquor in the North and Duyun Maojian Tea in the South".

Duyun's natural scenery is magical and beautiful, with diverse landforms, colorful cave landscapes and wonderful wildlife. There are quaint folk customs, bridges with different styles, Maanshan Forest Park, which is rare in China and closest to the urban area, Wenfeng Park, the largest open leisure park in the province, with a green area of more than 40,000 square meters, Jianjiang River, a natural swimming pool with clear water passing through the city, Bai Zi Bridge with a history of more than 200 years, and the famous "Dawn of Dongshan, Twilight of Xifeng, jathyapple in the South Building, Seven Stars in Beiling, Rain Flower in Lingyan and Spring Rise in Longtan".
