Huolinhe is called Huolinguole in Mongolian. Hunhe River in Liao Dynasty, Wuhe River in Jin Dynasty, Haroglu River in Yuan Dynasty and Hehe River in Qing Dynasty. It is a first-class tributary of the right bank of Nenjiang River.
