Eight types of tourist attractions

The eight types of tourist attractions are lake scenic spots, mountain scenic spots, forest scenic spots, landscape scenic spots, seaside scenic spots, leisure and recuperation summer resort, religious temple scenic spots and revolutionary memorial sites. Since 1978, the State Council has successively announced 1 19 national key scenic spots, and a number of provincial scenic spots have also been announced in various provinces. Coupled with historical and cultural cities and nature reserves all over the country, China is rich in landscape tourism resources. These scenic spots can be divided from different angles and can be divided into the following eight types according to their main landscapes:

1. Lake attractions: such as West Lake in Hangzhou, Dianchi Lake in Kunming, Taihu Lake in Jiangsu, Erhai Lake in Dali, Tianchi Lake in Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang, Sailimu Lake, Qinghai Lake, Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain, Jingbo Lake in Taiwan Province and Sun Moon Lake.

2. Mountain attractions: such as Huangshan, Taishan, Huashan, Emei, Wutai, Yandang, Hengshan and Alishan.

3. Forest scenic spots: such as Xishuangbanna, Wolong in Sichuan, Shennongjia in Hubei and Changbai Mountain in Jilin.

4. Scenic spots: such as Lijiang River in Guilin, Three Gorges of Yangtze River, Wuyi Jiuquxi, etc.

5. seaside attractions: such as Hainan Tianya Haijiao, Zhejiang Putuo Mountain, Xiamen and Dalian.

6. Leisure and recuperation summer resorts: such as Beidaihe in Hebei, Lushan in Jiangxi, Moganshan in Zhejiang and Jigongshan in Henan.

7. Religious temples and scenic spots: Wutai Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Gansu McKee, Luoyang Longmen, Emei Mountain, Songshan Mountain and Wudang Mountain.

8. Revolutionary memorial sites: such as Yan 'an, Jinggangshan, Zunyi, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Shaoshan, etc.
