ashes
From the Neolithic and various animal fossils unearthed from Liangzhuang and Liucun sites near Baiyangdian Lake, we can know that as early as 7,000 years ago, the ancestors of Baiyangdian Lake had flourished here, and primitive agriculture, fishing and hunting had appeared. Livestock were widely raised, and people began to live a settled life and build villages.
The ancient Baiyangdian Lake has four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. The rivers in the west originate from Taihang Mountain and the ancient Yellow River. It is rich in animal and plant resources and has a wide variety, making it an ideal place for human beings to live. The ancient Yellow River and the banks of large and small lakes are the settlements of ancestors, and most of them are built on the highlands along the river, which is conducive to the development of agriculture and fishing and hunting. Most of these sites are "platform-shaped" with high terrain, which can not only reduce moisture and dehumidification, but also resist floods and are suitable for living. With hard-working hands and simple tools, they reclaimed land for fishing and hunting wave after wave, laying the foundation for the rise of Baiyangdian and the development of economy and culture in the future.
Liangzhuang site
Liangzhuang site is a Neolithic site, located in the southeast of Anxin County 14 km south of Liangzhuang Village 100 meters. Low-lying, there is water at ordinary times, and when the water level is low, it becomes cultivated land, and reeds grow for many years. The site is 400 meters long from east to west and 200 meters wide from north to south, covering an area of 80,000 square meters. The site is basically well preserved. Liangzhuang site was discovered in April 1986. At that time, more than 100 bone fossils, more than 50 argillaceous pottery, brown sand pottery and two stone axes were collected. In September of the same year, Baoding Cultural Relics Management Office, History Department of Hebei University and Cultural Bureau of Anxin County jointly conducted an archaeological excavation of the site, with an excavation area of 37.5 square meters. The soil in the upper cultural layer of Liangzhuang site is gray loess with high viscosity, including brown pottery with sand mussels, muddy fiber pottery, muddy gray Tao Tao slices, braised clods, animal bones and other relics. The upper layer of the lower culture layer is dark gray loess, sandy and soft, including red pottery with mixed sand, brown pottery with mussel sand and mud red sand pottery with milk nails. According to the analysis of unearthed artifacts, the upper level of Liangzhuang was roughly in the early Yangshao culture. The site was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province on 1982.
Liucun site
Liucun site is a Neolithic Yangshao cultural site, located 300 meters north of Liucun in the west of Anxin County 1.5 km and south of Xin 'an North Dike in Baiyangdian.
1.5 km. The site is rectangular in plane, 250 meters long and 200 meters wide, covering an area of 50,000 square meters. The terrain is slightly higher than the surrounding area, and it is called "a knot in one's head" by the locals. The site was discovered in 1950s, and was later listed as the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Hebei Province. This site is well preserved. Cultural relics scattered on the surface of the site include many pottery fragments and stone tools, antlers, animal bones, mussels and so on. During the period of 1986, the Cultural Relics Management Office of Baoding Region and the Cultural Bureau of Anxin County carried out the first excavation of Liucun Site. Judging from the cultural relics accumulated and unearthed in the cultural layer, the first layer is the upper cultural layer, and a large number of pottery pieces have been unearthed, including broken cans, broken altars, red top bowls, pots, plates, bowls, pottery knives, pottery feet and tripod feet. The second floor is the lower cultural layer, and the number of unearthed pottery pieces is less than that of the upper layer, and the main shape is basically the same as that of the upper layer. There are clay pots, pots, pots, stone mills, stone mills, brackets and so on. From the analysis of excavation data, Liucun site is a late Yangshao cultural site, which contains Longshan cultural elements. The site was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province on 1982.
The discovery of these two sites provides valuable physical data for the establishment of the Neolithic chronological-paleontological chronological sequence in this area, for further exploring the cultural exchange between the ancient Central Plains and the northern region, and has important academic significance for studying the ancient environment, paleogeography and historical changes of Baiyangdian Lake.
In June 2020, Anxin County was included in the second batch of revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization counties (Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei region).
On April 28th, 2020, Anxin County was included in the list of counties (cities, districts) with basically balanced development of compulsory education in China in 20 19.
2065438+200465438+1On October 27th, the Ministry of Agriculture and the State Administration of Work Safety identified Anxin County as the second batch of national safe fishery demonstration counties.
