How to make a raft

The steps of making a raft are as follows:

Preparation materials: wood and rope.

1. Collect materials: collect your wood and take it to the launching point where you want to cross the river. If you want to make a large raft, you need more wood. But it doesn't need too much, because it is difficult to bind too many pieces of wood together.

2. Connecting the timber: connect all the timber, and fix the outermost part with ropes. You can use a double knot.

4. Tighten the middle link: bind and tighten the middle of the two outermost wood knots. These are the key parts. Make sure they are firm. If they come loose, it will be very unsafe and all previous efforts will be wasted. Make a single knot at the wood joint after tensioning (the first knot made when making a single knot). Repeat this process at the other end and other intersections.

5. Advance to the next one: After the timber on the outermost side is bound, start to bind at the next joint, using the same method at the beginning.

6. Continue to connect the two ends of the wood: first, bind all the wood in the middle, which is only half finished, and then continue to bind it again.

7. Finally, tie a lilac knot around the top of the wood: when the whole process is completed, your raft is almost finished. Finally, you need to tie a solid knot around the top, and the lilac knot is good.
