First sight of Mount Wutai - Climbing Dailuoding

After returning from the Northeast and passing through Shanxi, I suddenly thought of Wutai Mountain. I checked and found that it was not far from my destination. I wanted to go to Lingshan Holy Land. However, I checked the weather the next day and found that there would be showers. I took my family with me, so I hesitated to go. At two o'clock in the middle of the night, I was awakened by my baby's crying. After coaxing him to sleep, my husband and I started to check the Wutai Mountain guide. It was not until about three o'clock that we decided to climb Wutai Mountain regardless of rain or shine. Let’s have a small court first.

Early the next morning, our family set out. When we bought the tickets, we found a huge crowd of people. I wonder if all the tourists came here to escape the summer heat? ! After going through the tedious procedures to enter Taiwan, we were faced with a crazy traffic jam all the way. Xiaobao, who was fine at first, suddenly had diarrhea all over me [wiping sweat] Every road to becoming a saint and a Buddha has difficulties! While practicing on the road, I broke through the obstacles and came to the foot of the holy land. There were still many tests. I took care of everything and the car didn’t move far. The sun/:sun at noon was so hot that I couldn’t park outside Taihuai Town. I walked there and walked to Dailuo. Scroll down and realize that three hours have passed since the time to buy the ticket. Without further ado, let’s log in!

It was the hottest noon, and there were not many people worshiping Dailuoding. I also started my sacred journey by chanting the name of the Buddha. I met many devout believers along the way. They walked three steps at a time. Come closer to the light. I also imitated them to kneel on the steps and bow deeply. Although the number of times was small, I became more and more relaxed and joyful. I bowed my head in surrender. I took a closer look and saw myself. Every time I bowed, I seemed to be one step closer to myself. .

The 1080-step Dazhi Road leads directly to Dailuoding. Dailuoding enshrines Manjusri Bodhisattva from the five directions. Here you can worship together and it is a must-visit place in the small court. Climbing 1080 steps made me sweat profusely, but I never had the thought of giving up. I thought that every step was the only way for me to go, and reaching the top was the natural result, so my heart was very peaceful and pure.

Finally, I stood on the top of Dailuo Peak. With a pious heart, I worshiped with my family one by one, worshiped Manjushri Bodhisattva from all five directions, and offered lamps with my children (actually, none of the rituals were complete). (I understand, just follow the whole process with your heart), looked at the relief paintings in the temple, and told the story of the life of the Buddha to the children (fortunately, I have watched the TV series "The Life of the Buddha" before). In short, I visited every corner of the temple, It’s not easy to come here once, so make sure it’s worthwhile!

In fact, I don’t know how many hardships I have gone through before I can live this life. I must make this journey worthwhile! I hope that as I climb this road of wisdom step by step, I will be at the top!
