Tangshan Mountain Island Tourist Attractions

Bodhi Island is located in the southwest of Laoting County, with a total area of 2.34 square kilometers. It is named after a large number of "Buddhist holy trees" bodhi trees growing on the island. It is an international bird watching base, a provincial eco-tourism demonstration area and a scenic spot. According to legend, Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, lived here for nineteen years, so he was also called "Nineteen Tuos". The climate on the island is pleasant, suitable for summer, and the average temperature in July is only 25℃.

The natural environment of Bodhi Island is in a primitive state. There are more than 260 kinds of plants on the island, and the vegetation coverage rate is over 98%. Bodhi Island is also a paradise for birds. There are 408 species of birds living here, and you can see few rare birds in the world such as black-billed gull and short-tailed albatross.

The so-called rainbow beach is actually a wetland covered with Suaeda salsa. With the change of grass color, different colors of beaches appeared. It is said that you can catch crabs with your mobile phone at night.

3. Golden Sand Island

Golden Sand Island is located in Bohai Bay in the southwest of Laoting County, facing Bodhi Island across the sea. Golden Sand Island, 35km away from Laoting County, is an island resort integrating summer vacation, beach entertainment and catering services.

Golden Sand Island is a part of Dawanggang Island, which is integrated with the main body of Dawanggang Island at low tide and separated from it to become an independent island at high tide. It is named after the delicate golden beaches and solid clean beaches on the island.
