According to official website of Fuzhou Culture and Tourism Bureau, during the Spring Festival in 2023, Fuzhou Xichan Temple will be closed only on New Year's Eve, and the rest of the time will be open to the public normally, with the opening time from 7:00- 18:00 from the first day to the sixth day.

Xichan Temple is a national key Buddhist temple in the Han nationality area of China, and also a cultural relic protection unit in Fuzhou. Located at the foot of Jiujiling Mountain in the western suburbs of Fuzhou, it is one of the five major Buddhist temples in Fuzhou.
