The scenic spot levels classified by the People's Republic of China's tourist attraction quality grades are divided into five levels, from high to low, AAAAA, AAAA, AAA, AA, and A. The 5A level is the highest level of tourist attractions in China, representing the level of China's world-class tourist attractions.
The evaluation criteria for 5A scenic spots are totaling 1,000 points and are divided into 8 major categories. The scores for each major category are: 140 points for tourism and transportation, 210 points for sightseeing; 80 points for tourism safety and sanitation. 140 points, postal and telecommunications services 30 points, tourism and shopping 50 points, comprehensive management 195 points, resource and environmental protection 155 points, 5A tourist attractions need to reach 950 points.
