Xiamen travel experience and gains
Xiamen is a modern city that is constantly developing. The international community has given Xiamen good development policies and conditions. Xiamen is an important tourist attraction in my country. Next, follow my footsteps and read about it.
Chapter 1
"The city is on the sea, and the sea is in the city." Xiamen is a graceful "garden on the sea." Islands, reefs, rocks, temples, flowers, and trees complement each other. Overseas Chinese hometown customs, Fujian and Taiwan customs, seaside food, and exotic architecture are integrated into one. The spring-like climate all year round adds to the charm of the sea. Surrounded by sea water, vast beaches, and warm sunshine, Xiamen has a good ecological environment and fresh air. Thousands of egrets live in Xiamen, forming a unique natural landscape in Xiamen. And because the terrain of Xiamen resembles an egret, it is known as People call it "Heron Island".
Our transportation to and from Xiamen is by plane, which is lucky, because I heard that some people who went to Xiamen with a group took the train, which ended up wasting time and making the journey tiring. The plane took off from Quzhou at 6 pm that day. The plane was not big, with only 52 seats, but luckily we could see the beautiful cloud scenery.
During the two days of play, the weather was not very good. The first day was fine, there was sunshine, but the second day was not good, it started to rain. Along the way, we visited Aoyuan Garden, Huli Mountain Fort and other scenic spots. Let me introduce them below.
Attraction 1: Shuzhuang Garden
When you come to Shuzhuang Garden, you must visit the Gulangyu Piano Museum, which is known as the only and world-class Gulangyu Piano Museum in China. The museum provides 30 clavichords from the collection of Mr. Hu Youyi, an Australian piano collector who is originally from Gulangyu Island, to show the history of piano development in the world, spread piano music knowledge, promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, and highlight the image of Gulangyu Island as an island of music and the hometown of pianos. There are 19th-century clavichords produced in Germany and Austria on display, all of which are Mr. Hu’s private collection and are free for visitors to visit. Shuzhuang Garden was originally the private garden of Lin Erjia, a wealthy Taiwanese gentleman. It was turned into a park in the 1950s. In recent years, many facilities have been built and the area has been expanded to more than 3,000 square meters. It is a unique seaside park. After the Qing government was defeated in the Sino-Japanese Sino-Japanese War of 1894, it was forced to sign the humiliating Treaty of Shimonoseki, ceding Taiwan to Japan. However, Taiwan's military and civilians refused to cede Taiwan. General Liu Yongfu and others led the "Black Flag Army" to resist. The corrupt Qing government ordered the officers and soldiers stationed in Taiwan to return to the mainland. Lin Weiyuan, who was Taiwan's reclamation governor and minister of regiment defense at the time, did not dare to disobey the order, so in 1895 his family migrated inland and settled on Gulangyu Island. Lin Weiyuan was originally from Longxi. His ancestors went to Taiwan to cultivate and make a fortune in Tamsui during the Qianlong period. They built the "Banqiao Villa" or Lin Family Garden in Taipei. His son Lin Erjia has lived there since he was a child, and everything about the villa left him with wonderful memories. It is rare that Shuzhuang Garden combines three of the ten most artistic characteristics of garden art in the world into one garden. The first feature is "hiding the sea": people can't see the sea when walking on the road. When they reach the garden gate or even enter the door, they still can't see the sea. A yellow wall blocks the view. When they turn out of the moon cave gate and bypass the bamboo forest , suddenly "the sea and the sky are vast", achieving the surprising effect of suddenly seeing the sea. First, the sea is "hidden", and then the sea rushes in, attracting people to walk on the sea, and come to the "Tide Viewing Tower" in the sea to enjoy the sea view. It is really full of pride. Unfortunately, the tide viewing building has not been able to survive since it was blown down by a typhoon. recover. After visiting Shuzhuang Garden, a Swiss garden expert said: "We only have Zang Lake, but Xiamen has Zang Sea, which is very rare." The second feature of Shuzhuang Garden is its "clever borrowing": Lin Erjia used the slope facing the sea to The reefs in the bay and the rising and falling sea water were all used to encircle the land, build steps, build bridges and pavilions, so that a small bay that was originally very narrow, using the surrounding natural beauty as a pavement, became a place that accommodates the sea, has a lot of layers, and has a great view. Extensive sea garden. Such a wonderful artistic conception and interest cannot be experienced in any city or park in China. This is the most beautiful part of Shuzhuang Garden.
Attraction 2: Jimei Village
Jimei is the hometown of Mr. Tan Kah Kee. "Jimei School Village" is the general name for various schools and cultural institutions in Jimei. It was founded by Mr. Tan Kah Kee in 1913 and cost more than 100 million yuan. It is well-known in Southeast Asia. After decades of development, Jimei Mei Village currently has a total construction area of ??more than 100,000 square meters and has more than 10,000 teachers and students. The school village includes Xiamen Fisheries College, Jimei Navigation College, Fujian Sports College, Jimei Teachers College, Jimei Finance and Economics College and other universities as well as technical secondary schools, primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and nurseries. In addition to the school building, there are auditoriums, swimming pools, gymnasiums, cinemas, hospitals, sailing clubs, etc. Its huge scale and perfect installation are rare in China.
Jimei School Village was founded under the personal guidance of Mr. Tan Kah Kee. Because the architecture of the school village blends Chinese and Western styles, it has become a symbol of Jimei School. In particular, the Daonan Building of Jimei Middle School, the Nanxun Building of Jimei Overseas Chinese School, and the teaching building of the Navigation College are either tall and straight, or soaring in the sky, and the buildings are full of personality. A building in Xiamen University is a landmark building of the school and even the entire city of Xiamen. It has a very unique style. The red tiles on the top are typical Chinese style, while the building body is a typical Western architectural style. It is vividly described as medicinal. The best time to describe it is: "Wearing a Chinese bamboo hat and a Western suit." This also reflects the Chinese people's philosophy of establishing education at that time, which is not only to not forget one's origins, but also to learn advanced Western cultural knowledge and advanced science. Integrating it into the architecture is truly original.
In addition, the Xiamen University campus is also very beautiful, with green trees, small bridges and flowing water. Walking around it, you can also feel the strong academic atmosphere of a century-old famous school. Jimei Mei Village is not only a beautiful place, but also a tourist attraction that gathers many beauties, and the most distinctive one is the Dragon Boat Pool. By the Dragon Boat Pool, there are dragon-backed eaves, carved beams and painted pillars, and verdant green rings; there are two waterside pavilions in the center of the lake, with rippling waves spreading their wings; in the Dragon Boat Pool, a considerable-scale folk activity - dragon boat racing - is held every Dragon Boat Festival. The golden drums are beating together, the southern tunes are melodious, the waves are colorful and the voices are loud, it is really a unique style.

Attraction 4: Hulishan Fort
The Hulishan Fort is located on the seaside of Huli Mountain at the southern end of Xiamen Island. It was built in 1894, the 20th year of Guangxu's reign, and has a history of bleak rise and fall for more than 100 years. The base of the fort is made of camphor tree sap mixed with glutinous rice, brown sugar, lime and sand. It is very tough. The entire fort consists of barracks, tunnels, command building, observation tower, ammunition depot, moat, etc. It is a rectangular castle made of granite stones with an area of ??13,000 square meters. Historically, it was an ancient battlefield for the Xiamen people to fight against imperialist invaders. The fort is divided into two parts: east and west. Of the two main guns, only one remains, which was purchased from the Krupp Arsenal in Germany. The gun body is 13.13 meters long and weighs 50 tons. The inner diameter of the muzzle is 280 mm, and the effective range is 16,000 meters. The fort also displays more than 50 iron cannons cast in the Ming and Qing Dynasties unearthed from Xiamen waters and infrastructure construction sites. There is a tunnel connecting the east and west gun mounts, and there is a barracks at the exit of the tunnel. There is a moat outside and a patrol road inside, making it a coastal defense fortress. The small garden behind the wall sculptures has green grass, many small sculptures and golden tiger cactus. A leisure viewing pavilion is built high up, which is harmonious and natural. The museum is located in the former barracks of Hulishan Fort. It is a cultural exhibition institution jointly established by the Hulishan Fort Management Office and Singapore Yijia Gemstone Pte. Ltd. All exhibits in the museum are provided by Mr. Zhang Rongguang, a Singaporean collector. The museum is divided into five parts: "World Exhibition Hall of Strange Stones", "Exhibition Hall of Ancient War Cannons in the World", "Exhibition Hall of Ancient Swords in the World", "Exhibition Hall of Ancient Firearms in the World", and "Exhibition of Ancient Tree Fossils". The exhibits include 455 pieces of cannons, guns, precious swords and warrior armors and shields from all over the world since the 13th century, as well as natural sculptures with bright colors, clear textures and lifelike images of various natural landscapes such as mountains, rivers, seas, birds and animals, flowers, trees, insects and birds. 3850 pieces of strange stones. There are also the golden swords of the King of Jordan in the series of swords and swords, etc., there are too many to list. They are so amazing that they may be suspected of being "acquired processing", but it is best to see them in person.
Three days of travel arrangements, in fact, the real travel time is two days. Although tired, it is also enjoyable. It is recommended that you don’t go with a tour group. You can hire a local tour guide to take him around. It’s not expensive and you can arrange your own time. Why not? Those who have never been to Xiamen should go there as soon as possible. Let's go!
Chapter 2
Xiamen is a place I have always wanted to visit when I was in college, but I had no money and no time, so I could only bury it deeply. In the notebook plan. It just so happened that this trip to Xiamen organized by the group helped me realize this little wish, so I would like to say thank you.
The flight there was after eight o'clock, so I went straight to the east of the airport before I had time to eat after get off work. It was the first time in my life that I saw an airplane so close. It was not as big as I thought. I originally thought that flying for the first time would be very exciting, but now I am not as excited as I imagined. Maybe it’s because I can only see the street lights below after flying at night, or maybe it’s because I’m a lot calmer now.
After arriving in Xiamen, we didn’t have anything to eat, but there were also groups of people who wanted to have a late-night snack, so we struggled to find a place to eat. Although it didn’t suit the taste and was a bit expensive, this was our first meal here. It was very simple. .
The first day of the tour officially started. In the morning, we took the shuttle bus to Fantawild, the group's site in Xiamen. The first thing we did was a brief professional training, accounting basics plus cashier knowledge. I feel that our hearts are not here, and even though the courseware was from a few years ago, everyone is still listening attentively, but I don’t know how much they can remember. In the afternoon, we began to experience our own dream kingdom. Indeed, the architecture in this kingdom is very unique, and it is a perfect combination of Chinese culture and Western architectural art. Although I don't really like watching "Liao Zhai", my favorite among these projects is "Liao Zhai", which is a perfect fusion of technological fantasy and realistic performance. The song "You Will Win If You Work Hard" in "The Story of the Jungle" is also very exciting. I remember the tour guide also sang it on the shuttle bus. I think this is a reflection of their inner feelings, and it should also be our current spiritual status quo - Only those who love to fight will win, and it should be the "mantra" in the hearts of the entire nation. Another interesting thing in the amusement park is the Dinosaur Island project. Here you can see that the audience is happier than the players. Whether they are people on the boat or bystanders, they are actually participants. If there are no bystanders, Water cannon ***, players may not feel too much like water projects. The two complement each other and everyone is happy. In the evening, we also played some games. I just remember that the last one was to close your eyes and cross the obstacle under your feet. I had read about this project in the book before, but I didn’t expect that this time it was the same as what I read in the book. , the game is about overcoming the psychological barriers of oneself, the game is about self-confidence, even if there are obstacles, we must walk gracefully and calmly.
The next day we went to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. I had seen the buildings of Xiamen University in photos before, and I really admired them. However, after actually going there, to be honest, I was a little disappointed. It was not as beautiful as I had imagined, and I did not feel the so-called humanistic atmosphere. The aroma wafting from the cafeteria was quite... *** Our sense of smell may be a little tired from walking around, but the graffiti in the tunnel is more eye-catching. I have never believed in any religion, nor do I believe in Buddhism, but when I saw the big golden word "Buddha" in Nanputuo, I still stopped for a long time, and I don't know what I was thinking at that time. "Mantra" music, I might be impulsive and decide to become a Buddhist.
