What should I prepare for a trip to Genting Mountain in Loufan?

Genting Mountain is located at the junction of Loufan, Jiaocheng and Fangshan, with an altitude of 2708 meters. It takes only 40 minutes to walk from the mountainside of Genting in Miyu Town, loufan county. If you bypass Fangshan, you can drive directly to the top of the mountain. Genting Mountain is an extension of Pangquangou Nature Reserve. The mountains are high and the forests are dense, and the ancient trees are towering. The towering spruce is the main tree species here. The forest is full of weeds and mountain flowers, and sometimes forest animals such as roe deer, badger, wild boar, hare and various singing mountain birds increase the wild interest here. It takes only 40 minutes to walk from the mountainside of Genting in Miyu Town, loufan county. If you bypass Fangshan, you can drive directly to the top of the mountain.

Self-driving: Drive along provincial highway S 104 for about 100 km to Panjiazhuang Village, turn left and drive for about 15 km to Genting Mountain Scenic Area.

Shuttle: Taiyuan West Railway Station has a shuttle bus to loufan county, which takes about 2 hours, and the ticket is 35 yuan/person. Then take a taxi or charter to Genting Mountain, which takes about half an hour.
