The first entrance ticket for Mount Tai means that Mount Tai scenic area (including Dai Temple) will be opened free of charge. According to the latest notice issued by the National Tourism Administration, Taishan Scenic Area (including Dai Temple) will be opened free of charge from January 21 to March 31 according to the arrangement of the higher authorities about the first ticket exemption for the state-owned A-level tourist attractions in the province.

Mount Tai, also known as Daishan, Daizong, Daiyue, Dongyue and Taiyue, is one of the five mountains, with the title of "the head of the five mountains" and "the first mountain in the world". Located in the middle of Shandong Province, it belongs to Tai 'an City, and stretches between Tai 'an, Ji 'nan and Zibo, with a total area of 24,2 hectares. The main peak, Yuhuangding, is 1,532.7 meters above sea level.
