How to deal with food poisoning on the way out?

1. General therapy

Bed rest, early diet should be digestible liquid or semi-liquid diet, and normal diet can be resumed after the condition improves. Salmonella food poisoning should be isolated at the bedside.

2. Symptomatic treatment

For patients with obvious vomiting and abdominal pain, propafenone can be taken orally, atropine can be injected subcutaneously or anisodamine can be injected. If you can eat, take oral rehydration. Those with severe vomiting, inability to eat or frequent diarrhea should be given intravenous drip of sugar and normal saline. In case of acidosis, 5% sodium bicarbonate injection or 1 1.2% sodium lactate solution should be supplemented as appropriate. People with severe dehydration or even shock should actively replenish water, maintain electrolyte balance and give anti-shock treatment.

3. Antibacterial therapy

Antibacterials are generally not used. Severe patients with high fever can choose antibacterial drugs according to different pathogens. Such as Salmonella, Vibrio parahaemolyticus can choose quinolones antibiotics.
