Gulangyu Island in Xiamen requires a negative nucleic acid test certificate

The recent epidemic prevention and control across the country is still at a very tense stage. Especially in recent years, many areas have seen new cases of varying degrees. Therefore, many scenic spots have begun to restrict the flow of people or temporarily closed. Recently, Xiamen City, Fujian Province has also adopted corresponding prevention and control measures in response to the epidemic. I just learned from the Fujian Xiamen New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic Response Headquarters that in view of the recent serious and complex epidemic situation across the country, Xiamen has further strengthened epidemic prevention and control and tourism management in scenic spots such as Gulangyu Island. Tourists can only enter Gulangyu Scenic Area if their nucleic acid test report is negative within 48 hours. Gulangyu Scenic Area will strengthen the temperature measurement, health code, itinerary code, nucleic acid test certificate and other work for people entering the scenic area. Tourists with a history of living in cities located in medium- and high-risk areas within 14 days will not be accepted for the time being. Tourists who have reported cases but do not have a clear history of living in cities in medium- and high-risk areas within 14 days will not be accepted for the time being.

Xiamen’s tourist attractions adhere to measures such as traffic restrictions, reservations, and peak staggering. The number of tourists received by the scenic spot shall not exceed 75% of the maximum capacity, and various prevention and control measures such as temperature measurement, clear codes, wearing masks, "one-meter long lines", ventilation and disinfection shall be strictly implemented. Xiamen's large scenic spots with many foreign tourists will also strengthen the management of foreign tourists based on actual conditions.

Xiamen Culture and Tourism and other relevant departments will also strengthen the guidance and supervision of travel agencies and online travel companies. Government agencies, enterprises and institutions must strengthen business trip approval and private travel management, and suspend group/organization (or approval) travel, recuperation, and business trips to cities with locally infected people. All districts and relevant departments in Xiamen will strengthen supervision and inspection to ensure that various prevention and control measures are implemented.
