Yongde Daxueshan Scenic Area is located in Yongde County, northeast of Lincang County, on the west bank of Lancang River, with a linear distance of 19 km from Lincang County in the southwest. Daxueshan is a branch of Robbie Snow Mountain and a branch of Nujiang River. The mountain ranges from northwest to southeast, stretching for 24 kilometers from north to south, with a length of 15.6 kilometers from east to west, with a total area of about 300 square kilometers. The main peak of Daxue Mountain is Daxue Mountain, with an altitude of 3429 meters. There is a small snow mountain in the northwest of the main peak, with an altitude of 3 177 meters. There is Honghua Mountain in the south of the peak, with an altitude of 2723 meters. East of the peak is the ancient Gu Shan, with an altitude of 2,843 meters. The easternmost part is Dachaoshan, which belongs to Yunxian County, with an altitude of1813m.

There are 90 scenic spots with a total area of 174 square kilometers, which are composed of Daxueshan area, Tulin area, Tanglishan-Guanyindong mountain area, Nanting River tourist route and * * * three lines. The landscape of this area includes vast forests and diverse creatures, colorful azaleas, changeable waterfalls and clouds, various wonders of soil forests, unique customs of forests and stockades, rock paintings of reclining buddhas, pen pagodas, tropical scenery of hot spring caves in western Yunnan, banana plantations and sugarcane forests, rich folk customs, unique landscapes and beautiful environment. It is a good place for sightseeing and scientific research.
