The origin of the name of Huangshan Mountain in Pingnan

According to the records of Emperor Wu Zhinan, Taibo was buried at the southern foot of Tieshan Wei after his death, that is, nine miles northeast of Meili (now Meicun, the former capital of Juwu), and Tieshan was renamed as "Ancient Huangshan Mountain" from now on. Now it's renamed Hongshan, and Tomb-Sweeping Day holds the opening ceremony of Wu Culture Festival and Taber Festival here every year.

Huangshan, also known as Little Huangshan. Xiaohuangshan is located on the east bank of the southwest Yi River in Jiuqu Town, Hedong District. In February, 2005, when building Binhe Avenue, the cemetery of Li Gang's family, commander of Yizhouwei in Ming Dynasty, was discovered at the southern foot of Xiaohuangshan.
