Where are the glaciers in Tibet? Which glacier is the most worth visiting?

We all miss summer in winter, but in summer, we miss winter, and the weather is so hot that it will melt. Tibet is the most suitable place to travel. There are many glacier attractions here. Which glacier in Tibet is the most worth visiting?

Carola glacier 1

The nearest glacier to the highway in Tibet is the Karola Glacier. At that time, the Carola Glacier was famous for the movie red river valley, but it was also damaged to some extent by the avalanche effect in the movie.

Today's Corolla Glacier is still beautiful. It seems to pour down from the air and extend to the roadside, like a huge white hada, covering the mountains. The scene is spectacular.

However, due to the influence of global warming in recent years, the Karola Glacier is retreating a little bit, which also warns us that we must take care of nature while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Dunima Glacier was once rated as the "Glacier at the End of the World" by chinese national geography. In summer, the moraine lake under the glacier is as green as turquoise, but in winter, the lake freezes, and you can see the strange scenery of Lan Bing.

To reach the Qudenima Glacier, it takes about 3 kilometers to walk, about 1.5 hours. Although walking requires physical strength, time and patience, the stunning scenery will never let you down!

I don't know if you think the name Laigu is beautiful like me, like something that existed in ancient times. Laigu Glacier is named after a local Laigu village, which means "paradise-like village" in Laigu Tibetan.

Laigu Glacier is not only one of the three largest glaciers in the world, but also the largest and widest glacier known in Tibet. The Laigu Glacier is the most spectacular in winter. After January in winter, the lake will form a thick Lan Bing. Being in the Laigu Glacier is like being in a blue planet. Lan Bing is blue, charming and clear.

The scenery is no less than Iceland, and it was once rated as "the most beautiful glacier in China" by China National Geographic magazine!

Kuoqiong Gangri Glacier is the only glacier that can be reached by car without climbing mountains, and it is also the closest glacier to Lhasa.

The altitude of the Kuogonggang Ri Glacier is not low, about 5,600 meters, which is higher than the base camp of Mount Everest. There are not only glaciers here, but also snow-capped mountains, lakes and meadows. After coming down from the Kuogonggang Ri Glacier, you can go to Yangbajing to soak in a health hot spring.
