Ankang tourist attractions

Ankang's tourist attractions include Yinghu Lake, Ankang Xiangxi Cave, Guiguling National Forest Park, Renhe Rafting and Liangheya.

1, Yinghu

Yinghu Lake, one of the provincial scenic spots, is located at the foot of Tianzhu Mountain, which is18km southwest of the city. It is the largest green freshwater artificial lake in northwest China after the completion of Ankang Hydropower Station, with a circumference of 540 kilometers and a water area of 77.5 square kilometers. Driving sightseeing, the first thing you see is the power station dam that locks the dragon in the volcanic canyon.

2. Xiangxi Cave in Ankang

Xiangxi Cave Scenic Area is located about 5 kilometers south of Ankang City. According to the inscription, it was built in the early years of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty. According to legend, this is the place where the Eight Immortals Lv Dongbin made an alchemy. It used to be called "Ancient Cave Fairy Trace", which is the best of the eight scenic spots in Ankang. The total area of Xiangxi Cave is 10 square kilometer, which is divided into five scenic spots: Xiangxi Cave, Santianmen, Wugong Mountain and Niutiling.

3. Guiguling National Forest Park

Ghost Guling National Forest Park is located in Chengguan Town, Shiquan County, Ankang City, 30 kilometers away from Shiquan County. It is the highest mountain in Shiquan and a famous Taoist mountain in Shaanxi. Ghost Guling, also known as Wu Yun, consists of three scenic spots: Ghost Guling, Longdonggou Scenic Spot and Daxigou Scenic Spot. Magnificent and steep, the main peak is arched by five majestic peaks, which is called "five dragons holding saints".

4, Ren River rafting

The largest tributary of the Han River is the narrow beach of the valley, which has beautiful natural scenery and blends with the steep Bashan Mountain. Renhe River Drifting is located in Ziyang County, Ankang, starting from Gaotan and drifting downstream to Quanhe River, with a total distance of 15km. There are 36 shoals, and the current is sudden and slow, so there is no danger at all. The mountains on both sides of the river are undulating and beautiful.

5. Liangheya

Liangheya is located in North Erli, Puxi Town, Hanyin County, Ankang, 250 meters away from Bai Han Highway. The mountains here are not too high, but they are steep and strange. There is a couplet saying: "The mountain is high and the door falls, and the fairy is in the clear spring hole on the stone." In recent years, Guanyin Pavilion, Wang Yaodian, Sanqing Palace and other buildings have been restored, and the mountain has a natural landscape.
