Is there anything to pay attention to in long-distance cycling?
Food: When ordering in a restaurant, pay attention to the combination of meat and vegetables, generally half, and it is best to put more salt (sweating a lot when riding a bicycle). Generally do not eat unfamiliar vegetables and beans, cold dishes and braised dishes (for fear of unsafe eating). It's best not to order time-consuming dishes (too hungry to wait). ); Don't go into a restaurant that is too big (the store bullies customers), and don't go into a fly restaurant (for fear of diarrhea). Many times there is no place to have lunch on the road, and sometimes the time to arrive at the destination is very late, so try to bring dry food that can eat two meals, and it is best to bring something you like to eat; Be sure to bring enough water, generally go uphill, and drink plenty of water when the temperature is high. I don't need to remind you of this. You will understand in less than three days. In order to save money, it is suggested to fill the hotel with boiling water.
Check-in: 1 Check the room before you check in, and pay attention to whether there are any extra power outlets in the room, because you need to charge the camera, mobile phone, etc. It depends on whether there is a bathroom and a toilet. On several occasions, going to the toilet in our hotel was almost an "adventure";
Try to find a spacious room, because we have a lot of luggage, and sometimes we have to put the car in the room. This room is small and crowded.
3, be careful not to catch a cold when sleeping, many people catch a cold when sleeping (riding a bike during the day will hardly catch a cold), mainly because of the quilt problem, one is thick and the other is thin.
Ok: If the journey is long, you must get up early and leave early to reach your destination before dark. We usually get up at 6 o'clock. Keep a low profile on the road, don't shout "Tashi Dele" to everyone, for fear that people don't know you and Tibetans don't say hello first. Generally don't take the initiative to say hello. Try to decline the invitation, try to pass through villages and crowded places, and try not to stop and rest in these places (this may depend on the actual situation, I believe: there are still many good people in the world, you don't commit crimes, and people don't commit crimes); Be friendly to others, and many times others will treat you like you treat others (but it is best not to give it to children who want it); There are only two ways to meet a dog, one is to run and the other is to fight; Try not to push a cart when going uphill (I have moderate physical strength and almost never pushed a car), because the cart is only 3-4 kilometers per hour and it is not easy to ride a bike for at least 9 kilometers; Don't cut corners when encountering tortuous turning lines, it's not worth the candle. Two of our companions took a shortcut and regretted it until their intestines were blue. Don't ride too far away from each other. It is best to keep the latter person in your sight all the time and look back at any time. You can prepare a walkie-talkie if you have more money. Please prepare the green card of China Post in advance. The working hours of the post office are generally 9:00- 16:00. There are not as many banks as post offices. However, UnionPay cards can also be used in most towns. Please withdraw at most two or three hundred yuan at a time, and then withdraw it after use. Don't carry too much cash with you. Wearing a helmet, a magic headscarf on his face, long-sleeved clothes and trousers. You'd better wear riding glasses. Of course, gloves (gloves are preferably thread gloves, which are convenient for wiping nose water) are necessary.
Special reminder about safety: you must wear a helmet when riding, unless your head is harder than cement or stone on the road. Please pinch the brake before going down the hill to see if it works. Not too fast! Unless you want to see each other again. "Ten accidents are nine times fast!" Don't be happy for a moment, just fly under the cliff! When going downhill, especially when turning, drive on the right. So as not to collide with the car going up the mountain! If you really want to wear headphones, please turn the volume down to 15 or use a headset.
Tibet route
I. Qinghai-Tibet line
Direction: Xining 49- Huangyuan 55- Daotang River 196- Chaka 133- Dulan 353- Golmud 158- Kunlun Mountain Pass 120- Wudaoliang 148- Tuotuo River.
The Qinghai-Tibet line is the main artery of the highway into Tibet, the asphalt highway with the highest altitude and the longest route in the world, and the shortest route, the best road condition and the safest highway leading to Tibet at present. Qinghai-Tibet Highway is a line operated by passenger buses, and ordinary family cars can also be used on the road. There are grasslands, salt lakes, Gobi, mountains and deserts along the way. Kunlun Mountain Pass, Wudao Liangshan Pass and Tanggula Mountain Pass are high in altitude, and the climate is cold, rainy and snowy. It is necessary to prepare enough cold-proof clothes and carry medicines to prevent altitude sickness with you.
Second, the Sichuan-Tibet line
The Sichuan-Tibet line is one of the main roads to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, and it is also the most challenging and fascinating adventure tourist route. Starting from Chengdu, Sichuan, passing through Ya 'an, passing through Erlangshan Tunnel, passing through Luding, Kangding and xinduqiao, the Sichuan-Tibet line is divided into a south line and a north line.
The southern line of Sichuan and Tibet is mainly famous for its natural scenery, while the northern line is characterized by the coexistence of nature and humanity. The southern line passes Yajiang, Litang, Batang, Mangkang and Zuogong, and reaches Bangda Military Station. The northern line runs from xinduqiao via Bamei, Tagong, Danba, Daofu, Luhuo, Ganzi, Dege, Jiangda and Changdu, and reaches Bangda Station. The two lines meet at Bangda Military Station, then pass through Basu, Bomi, Linzhi, Bayi, Gongbu Jiangda, Mozhugongka, Dazi and other places, and finally arrive in Lhasa.
The southern section of the Sichuan-Tibet line is 2392 kilometers long, and the northern section of the Sichuan-Tibet line is 2554 kilometers long. Because of the high altitude and changeable terrain, there are rich natural attractions along the way. On the way, the two lines need to cross the 2 1 mountain pass at an altitude of more than 4000m, cross the choppy river of 14, and add the ethnic customs dominated by Tibetans, so the Sichuan-Tibet line has always been the first choice for cyclists.
South Line: Chengdu (0)- Ya 'an (147)- Luding (3 15)- Kangding (364)- xinduqiao (439)- Yajiang (5 13)- Litang (656)- Batang. -Basu (1287)- Ranwu (1377)- Shangchayu (1537)- Bomi (1756)- Tongmai (1845)- Linzhi (.
Northern Line: Chengdu (0)- Danba (383)- xinduqiao (528)- Dawu (749)- Luhuo (82 1)- Ganzi (9 18)- Manigango (1kloc-0).
Third, the Yunnan-Tibet line
Direction: Kunming 353- Lijiang 194km- Zhongdian 190km- Deqin 224km- Mangkang 158km- Zuogong 107km- Bangda 94km- Basu 90k m- Ranwu 65438. 438+020km-50km-Basongcuo-206km-Gongbu Jiangda-68km-Zhu Mo Gongka-Lhasa, with a total length of about 2,300km, belonging to section 2 14 of National Highway.
The Yunnan-Tibet line is the lowest passage among the four highways entering Tibet, and the highest elevation of the whole line is only 4300m (Hongla Snow Mountain Pass). The climate along the way is mild and humid, with lush trees. Because the Hengduan Mountains are cut by Lancang River and Jinsha River. The best driving season of Yunnan-Tibet Highway is August -65438+ 10, in which landslides and even mudslides often occur in the rainy season in Zhongdian-Mangkang section, so you should inquire about the road conditions in advance to avoid delaying the trip.
The scenery along the line includes Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake (Dali); Naxi Ancient City (Lijiang); Shangri-La (Zhongdian); There are also strange and spectacular Hengduan Mountains. This route is the "ancient tea-horse road" taken by famous ancient business travelers. Nowadays, the "Yunnan-Tibet Line", which is praised as a world-class cross-country route by cross-country explorers, is the main passage from Yunnan to Tibet. The ancient cities of the ancient tea-horse road (such as Lijiang and Dali) and the disappearing caravan culture are integrated on this Yunnan-Tibet line.
It starts from Old Town of Lijiang in the south and enters Shangri-La County. Old Town of Lijiang, located in the upper reaches of Jinsha River, has a long history, beautiful scenery and magnificent natural environment. It is a descendant of the ancient Qiang people and the hometown of Naxi people. Old Town of Lijiang, with an altitude of 2,400 meters, is the central city of Lijiang Naxi Autonomous County, one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China and a national key scenic spot.
Fourth, the new Tibet line
Yecheng -69km- Bodhisattva -88km- Di Ku Daban -83km- Mazha Daban-339km-Sweet Water Sea-10km-Jieshan Daban-177km-Sodoma-/kloc-0.
The pass along the New Tibet Line that passes through Kunlun Mountain is 10, and Jieshan Daban, with the highest elevation of 6700m, has 130km on the line above 5000m, which is the highest highway in the world. Along the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway, there are many uninhabited wasteland, with bad weather and thin air, so the journey is quite difficult. However, the continuous snow-capped mountains, dense lakes and abundant wild animals make it a paradise for explorers.
The Xinjiang-Tibet Highway is blocked by heavy snow in winter and spring, making it impassable. The best driving season is from the beginning of May to the middle of 10. Due to the bad weather and poor accommodation conditions along the way, we should prepare enough cold-proof clothes, medicines, dry food and sleeping bags. The distance between Yecheng and Shiquan River is 1 100km. The distance between Shiquan River and Lhasa is 174 1km. There are no buses on the Xinjiang-Tibet Highway, and the tourist traffic mainly depends on hitchhiking and car rental.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) China-Nepal highway
Direction: Guarding Mandu 1 14- Zhangmu Friendship Bridge 45- Nyalam 2 10- Dingri 84- Lazi 157- Shigatse 74- Nimu 140- Qushui 55-
China-Nepal Highway is an international highway, which is about 7 15km long in China. The China-Nepal Highway basically runs through the Himalayas, rising gradually from the west of Lhasa, reaching the highest point of the Jiacuola Pass at an altitude of 5,220 meters, crossing the Himalayas to the southern foot of the mountain, and then rapidly descending to go abroad through Zhangshu. Because the highway passes through the mountains, the road conditions of China-Nepal highway are not satisfactory. The Tibetan government has been gradually reforming. China-Nepal border attracts more and more Chinese and foreign tourists for sightseeing, scientific research and exploration with its unique natural and cultural landscape such as Mount Everest, and China-Nepal Highway has become a golden tourist route.
Warm reminder: If you have no cycling experience and are going to Tibet, you'd better join a cycling team or simply walk together instead of acting alone. Preferably an experienced donkey who has been to Tibet. Going to Tibet alone is still a bit risky, because there is not enough oxygen on the plateau, at least more people will not rebel at the same time, so don't try to ride into Tibet easily. There are many bad road conditions in Tibet, which will be very difficult.
