During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday just past, Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, which has two world natural and cultural heritages, welcomed a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. Stunning appearance at the World Tourism Conference

In mid-September, the week-long 22nd General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization was held in Chengdu, attended by ministerial VIPs from more than 65,438+000 countries and more than 800 official representatives. This has undoubtedly become an important opportunity for Dujiangyan City to show its own resources to the world. During the conference, a tourism promotion activity with the theme of "Dujiangyan Heart Experience" was unveiled. The event introduced Dujiangyan's traffic advantages, profound history and culture, splendid folk customs, livable urban environment and potential investment prospects to more than 300 guests from all over the world, which won unanimous praise from guests at home and abroad.

External publicity has been effectively strengthened.

On August 7th, Dujiangyan signed an agreement with Universal Travel Service of Cambodia to promote strategic cooperation in tourism, and established the "Overseas Dujiangyan" Cambodia promotion station. This is also the first overseas promotion station in Dujiangyan. Four days later, the second "Overseas Dujiangyan" promotion station was established in Jakarta, Indonesia. In the future, the promotion station will focus on promoting Dujiangyan's tourism resources and products overseas and show Dujiangyan's image as an international tourist city.

As the core brand of Dujiangyan City, Qingchengshan-Dujiangyan Scenic Area actively expands the tourism market in Japan, South Korea, Europe, America, Hong Kong and Macao. This year, 5000 passenger transport agreements were signed in Hong Kong and Macao alone. At the same time, we actively integrated into the propaganda platform of Sichuan Tourism Commission and Chengdu Tourism Bureau, and went to Austria, Czech Republic and other countries or regions to carry out overseas marketing this year.

Dujiangyan city, with excellent ecological environment, has two giant panda bases, Panda Paradise and Panda Valley. Chengdu is a frequent place visited by foreign heads of state. There are more than 50 giant pandas living here all the year round, and they have become "goodwill ambassadors" who interact with the world. The babies, Mount Tai and Fu Bao who came back from life in the United States and Austria brought back the thoughts and greetings from Europeans and Americans. Xinghui and Hao Hao, who lived in Belgium from Dujiangyan base, and Yuan Xin and Hua Ni, who lived in South Korea, also spread the story of Dujiangyan abroad.

As another resounding business card of Dujiangyan, Qingcheng Taiji has long been one of the bridges connecting Dujiangyan with the world. This year alone, Qingcheng Taiji participated in the Happy Chinese New Year in Australia, the multinational cultural festival in New Zealand, and the "Climbing the Summit for Love" with the participation of many countries. These activities not only made Qingcheng Wushu famous in the world, but also attracted a large number of Wushu lovers to Dujiangyan to study and exchange.

Since the beginning of this year, Dujiangyan City has successively signed memoranda on establishing friendly and cooperative relations with the cities of Bruges Wright, Germany and Wright Kenny, Ireland. Signed a memorandum of understanding on tourism cooperation with the Lake District Committee of Queenstown, New Zealand ... At the same time, Dujiangyan actively relied on local universities such as Chengdu College of Sichuan International Studies University to actively carry out international exchanges.
