Savage Valley

It is located in Fangxian County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, bordering Fangxian County to the north and Shennongjia Forest Area to the south. This is an important connection point on the golden tourist route of Wudang Mountain, Shennongjia and the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. The Savage Valley has a humid climate, beautiful scenery, developed caves, lush vegetation, high mountains, deep waters, and many peaks.

Savage Valley is located on the second ladder of terrain in my country. It is the transition area from the northern subtropical zone to the warm temperate zone in my country. It is separated by the Qinling Barrier in the north and the Bashan Mountain in the south. During the Quaternary Ice Age, it was affected by the cold currents of mountain glaciers. It is extremely weak, making Savage Valley one of the "refuges" of Tertiary plants, thus preserving rich, ancient and rare forest vegetation. There are 4 species of national Class I protected plants and 22 species of Class II protected plants in Savage Valley; there are 5 species of national Class I protected wild animals and 53 species of national Class II protected wild animals. There are also many rare albino animals, such as white bears, etc. Very high conservation value.

Savage Valley is adjacent to Savage Cave and is named after "savages" who often appear there. The ten-mile-long gorge has majestic mountains, beautiful waters, strange green rocks, and winding paths. It is known as "a fairyland on earth, a paradise on earth, the hometown of savages, and the kingdom of plants." In the canyon there are Pearl Slope, Qilin Peak, Yehuadang, Condescend Pass, Longziyan, Goshawk Wall, Savage Mansion, Giant Peak, Savage Valley, Savage Castle, Savage Tribe, Santan Wild Bath, Longxu Waterfall, Peerless Tiangen, Kowloon rock climbing, hippopotamus drinking and many other sights. Savage Valley is an ideal place to enjoy flowers in spring, escape the heat in midsummer, describe scenery in late autumn, and sing about snow in severe winter.

The cave is located "between two mountains" in Hubei (Wudang Mountain, Shennongjia, The golden middle section of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River for tourism, National Highway 209 runs through the whole territory, and the transportation is convenient. The Yeren Cave scenic spot is 280 kilometers away from Xiangfan, 130 kilometers away from Shiyan City, 127 kilometers away from Shennongjia Muyu, and 155 kilometers away from Wudang Mountain.

Savage Cave is a natural limestone cave. It was named after local farmer Yin Hongfa fought with a savage at the entrance of the cave in 1974 (this man is still alive). It is a national AAA tourist area. The length of the cave has been developed to 1,980 meters. The viewing area is 21,000 square meters. The entire cave is divided into upper and lower floors, connected by a man-made 100-meter ladder in the middle. The ladder is unique among many caves in China and is thrilling. The cave is divided into "Three Halls" (i.e. Drum Hall, Tianhe Hall, and Divine Turtle Hall), "Two Palaces" (i.e. Savage Bedroom, and the Maze in the Cave), and "Yihui" (i.e. Lovers' Meeting). The cave has twists and turns, winding paths leading to secluded areas, and the landscape layout is uneven. The stalactites have different images and poses, such as immortals, Buddhas, beasts, or forests, which are lifelike. The temperature in the cave is constant at 14 degrees Celsius all year round.

After seeing it, Professor Wang Hongbin of the China Tourism Cadre Management Institute exclaimed: "The magnificent scenery can be called the first cave in northwest Hubei." It is a rare "savage" cave in China.

Guabangyan

Guabangyan in Qiaoshang Township, 45 kilometers south of Fangxian County. Legend has it that Emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Xian, was deposed as King of Luling and moved to Fangzhou, that is, Fangxian County, where he launched an army. It is a place where people are recruited on anti-week lists.

Guanyin Cave is located in Fenghuang Mountain, 3 kilometers south of Fang County, along National Highway 209. Guanyin Cave was first built in the Tang Dynasty. After successive repairs and expansions, it has grown in size and is now a cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province.

Hualongyan Mujiagou

It is located in the south of Weigou, Hualongyan Town, Fang County, about 30 kilometers away from the county seat. Here there are long canyons, waterfalls, strange rocks and caves, and the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers.

Wangfo Mountain

In the Mengu Temple of Fangxian County, there is the famous Wangfo Mountain. It has a long history of cultural landscape, beautiful natural peaks and scenic spots. It can be said that it is full of wonders and scenic spots.

Xian Temple

Xian Temple is located at the mouth of Junma River, Jundian Town, 12 kilometers west of Fangxian County. It is said that the weirdo Fei Changfang showed his saint here, hence the temple's name. It was founded during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.
