The whole Xuanwu Lake is rhombic, and there are five continents in the lake, namely Zhou Huan, Lingzhou, Yingzhou, Liangzhou and Cuizhou. Now it is the core tourist attraction of Xuanwu Lake. Of course, there are many historical sites around Xuanwu Lake, the most famous of which is the Ming City Wall. Nanjing Ming City Wall is the best preserved and largest ancient city wall in the world today, from which you can have a panoramic view of Xuanwu Lake.

There is also a storm in Xuanwu Lake on a cloudy day, just like a beautiful ink painting embedded in this land of Nanjing, standing on the shore and looking around, Xiushui, ancient bridge, Qingshan and Aoki are connected together, and the scenery is very beautiful.

Many people may wonder why Xuanwu Lake is not as famous as Hangzhou West Lake. This is inseparable from the history of Xuanwu Lake. Xuanwu Lake was turned into a "Wuzhou Park" and opened to the outside world, and today's Xuanwu Gate was built. However, many historical events happened in Xuanwu Lake, but as a scenic spot in Nanjing, it is now open to the public free of charge.

There are many ancient buildings on five continents of Xuanwu Lake. Among them, there is a "Friendship Hall" on Liangzhou, formerly known as "Hanbixuan", which was the place where distinguished guests were received in those years and received many Chinese and foreign celebrities.

In addition, there are many scenic spots on five continents, such as fish pond, Baiyuan, Tonggoujing, Royal Album Library, Range Rover Building, Rhododendron Garden, Pottery Garden, Yingzhou Promenade, Thai Ling Hua Bookshelf and so on, which are well worth visiting.
