I want to find some introductions of Qibao ancient town.

when it comes to the formation of the seven treasures, we must first talk about the two famous writers Lu Ji and Lu Yun in the Jin Dynasty. Lu Ji was born in 261 AD and Lu Yunsheng in 262 AD, but both brothers were killed by Sima Ying, the king of Chengdu, in 33 AD. They are all from Huating, Wujun (now Songjiang District, Shanghai).

Lu Ji and Lu Yun were born in Dongwu during the Three Kingdoms period. Their grandfather Lu Xun was the right commander, the great commander, the prime minister, the marquis, and his father, General Lu Kang, the fu, led Jingzhou as a shepherd. After the Three Kingdoms returned to Jin, Lu Ji and Lu Yun were tolerated by the Jin Emperor, and studied hard in their hometown Huating for ten years, thus gradually gaining fame. The two brothers made great achievements in poetry and prose, and they were known as "two lands in the clouds". Since the "Eight Kings Rebellion" in the Jin Dynasty, Lu Ji and Lu Yun failed to suffer far, so they were spared only in case of forgiveness. Later, he returned to Sima Ying, the king of Chengdu, and in the second year of Tai 'an, Wang Ying, Chengdu, and Hejian Wang Siju fought against Wang Fan in Changsha. Lu Ji was appointed as the commander-in-chief of the vanguard. Because of the defeat, he was falsely accused by Meng Jiu brothers and Lu Zhi in Wang Ying, Chengdu, and was secretly admitted to the army. Three tribes were killed at the same time, when Lu Ji was 43 years old and Lu Yun was 42 years old. Lu Ji once lamented, "If you want to smell the graceful crane, can you get it back?" In this way, a famous generation of literature in the Western Jin Dynasty died in the war disaster.

Lu Ji and Lu Yun were literary giants at that time. At that time, Lu Yun was called "with rich words and elegant intentions", while Lu Ji was even more "with few wizards, and his articles were the best in the world". Unfortunately, both of them were victims of the power struggle of the ruling class at that time, leaving only the allusion of "Hua Ting He Hao".

After Erlu was killed by Sima Ying, his descendants set up an incense shrine in Songjiang, named Lu Baoyuan. The hospital was located in Lubaoshan, Songjiang, near Wusong River. The establishment of Lubaoyuan paved the way for the formation of Qibao Town in the early Song Dynasty.

It has been a long historical process from Lubaoyuan to Qibao Temple. When exactly Lubaoyuan was built is unknown. Later, Lu Baoyuan was renamed Lu Baoan, and because of the tooth bank of the Wusong River, Lu Baoan moved its address three times, which went through sixteen countries in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Sui Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty for nearly 6 years, until the Five Dynasties and Ten Countries. Divide the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms into a historical stage. Because Qibao Temple was officially named in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.

The Records of Songjiang Prefecture and Qingpu County record the formation of the Seven Treasures in this way: "The Seven Treasures died in Lu Baoshan. King Ci of wuyue collected scriptures in gold, saying,' This is a treasure', and it was renamed Qibao. Later, I was in the town, so I took the name. " In a short sentence, the origin of the seven treasures was pointed out. The Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms is a historical transition period between the Tang and Song Dynasties. The reign of Qian Liu, King of Wu Yue, was from 97 to 931 AD. Qian Liu, King of Wu Yue, went to Lu Bao 'an and presented Lu Bao 'an with a lotus sutra written in block letters with gold powder on blue paper for five years. He also said,' This is a treasure'. As a result, Lu Baoan was renamed Qibao Temple.

It must be explained here that Qibao Temple was named in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, and at the same time it was moved to the north of Puhuitang. But the scale is very small, just a general Buddhist temple.

Qibao Town is named after the temple.

According to historical data, "The town has no old name, but it is named after the temple, and the temple is not important because of the town." After building a temple in Zhang Ze, in the first year of Xiangfu in the Song Dynasty (AD 18), the emperor granted Qibao Temple, thus Qibao Town was officially named.

at that time, "qibaojiao temple" was known as "the first temple in the east of the county", covering an area of 6 mu and a temple river of 6 mu. the whole temple was surrounded by green water, with red walls and tiles, morning bells and drums, and cigarettes, and the scenery was very beautiful. It attracted hundreds of people from Fiona Fang to pay homage to Qibaojiao Temple, so pilgrims and scholars burned incense, worshipped Buddha, recited poems and painted pictures here, which made Qibaojiao Temple full of incense and people came and went, forming a very popular situation. The market town pattern was formed in the periphery of Qibaojiao Temple, and Qibao Town had developed to a certain scale at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. At that time, Qibao Town was "a huge town with numerous residents, merchants and scholars." The area on both sides of Puhuitang is named Qibao Town because of Qibao Temple.

In fact, in the history of China, many famous market towns and cities are inextricably linked with religion, such as Nanxiang, Longhua, Fahua and Zhenru, all of which are named after temples. From these aspects, the development of cities and towns in ancient China and religion complemented each other to some extent. Some experts who studied this issue pointed out that urban planning was influenced by religion and economy at the initial stage. So is the formation of Qibao Town.

After Qibao Town was named after the Yuansi Temple, Qibaojiao Temple was "promoted by the town". The development of Qibao Town here has a great influence on Qibao Temple. When the Qibaojiao Temple was not moved, although there were no place names on both sides of Puhuitang, it was still a land of wealth, with merchants gathering and scholars coming forth in large numbers. Economy and culture have developed to a certain stage from the post-Han Dynasty to the early Song Dynasty, which laid a solid foundation for the prosperity of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. When Qibao Temple moved its address to the north bank of Puhuitang, the name Qibao Town established the regional names on both sides of Puhuitang. Similarly, Qibaojiao Temple has gained greater prestige because of Qibao Town, which has a great influence in the whole land of Wu County.
