Why do more and more people prefer to travel to Guizhou rather than Yunnan?

speaking of China's major tourist province, Yunnan is definitely the "first to bear the brunt". Yunnan Province, located in the southwest of China, has always been the most popular traditional tourist destination in China because of its beautiful natural scenery, rich ethnic customs and profound historical and cultural heritage. Every year, a large number of tourists come to Yunnan for sightseeing.

However, with the development of the times and the change of people's travel habits, Guizhou Province, next door to Yunnan Province, has also begun to develop vigorously in the tourism industry, and achieved good results. Now more and more people choose to travel to Guizhou instead of Yunnan. It can be said that "emerging" Guizhou tourism has gradually affected the status of "established" Yunnan tourism.

In fact, Yunnan and Guizhou, two neighboring southwestern provinces, are similar in many aspects. First of all, these two provinces are located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. No matter the climate, scenery and topography are close, you can see many natural landscapes in Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, but the scenic spots in Yunnan are developed earlier, and the popularity may be higher.

In addition, in terms of cultural background, Guizhou and Yunnan are both provinces with rich ethnic customs, and ethnic culture is also one of the important reasons for attracting a large number of tourists. Even in tourism propaganda slogans, Yunnan is called "colorful Yunnan" and Guizhou is called "colorful Guizhou", which has the same effect. It can be seen that the two provinces are in the same strain in cultural characteristics.

There is another important reason why more and more people choose to travel to Guizhou instead of Yunnan. It is likely that there have been too many negative news about Yunnan tourism in recent years, so that the reputation of Yunnan tourism has declined sharply. Although Yunnan Province has been vigorously rectifying unhealthy trends in the tourism industry and has made obvious achievements, I am afraid it will take some time to restore the confidence of tourists.

As Guizhou tourism has just started for a short time, it has learned relevant lessons, appeared more experienced in management and maintained a good reputation, so more and more people want to visit Guizhou. However, compared with Yunnan tourism, Guizhou tourism is still "young". Guizhou's scenic spots are not so famous and its supporting facilities are not so perfect. It also takes a certain process to catch up with Yunnan in this respect.
