Take children abroad for a happy trip ~ Parents should learn these 4 tricks quickly.
I have accumulated some experience in taking my children abroad in recent years. Going abroad is not only to exercise parents' physical strength and emotional control ability, but also to study with their children. How to think for their traveling companions? Cooperate with each other? Use children's strong curiosity and keen observation to guide children to think more deeply!
don't worry about whether the child remembers? We learn to enjoy the happiness and hardship of the moment, which is the real life! When I have only one child, I will fly to Europe and America (my son will fly over the United States and London for a long time and Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore for a short time). After the second child was born, he only flew to Japan because his parents were afraid of death (big mistake), haha!
My personal feeling is:
It is easy to deal with when I am very young (within three months), because I sleep for a long time, that is, I eat and sleep frequently, but I will be fine when my physiological needs are met. The hardest thing is between the age of one and the age of three. At this stage, I'm a little confused, crying if I want, screaming if I want, and I have a lot of opinions but lack of ability (of course, I've seen little angels of this age, such as my niece Fei Fei, who gets on the bus to sleep and get off the bus to play with the group). It's really a test of my parents' face thickness to take them abroad on the plane. Therefore, it is recommended that children under the age of three should try to arrange the flight time at the time when their children are sleeping. For example, our flight to Japan at the end of May was around 9: 3 in the morning. Although it was not the usual time for my sister to go to bed, she was dug up before 6: in the morning because she had to catch the plane, so she fell asleep shortly after boarding the plane (but my sister belongs to a better sleep). What is more difficult is that if the child can't sleep well, for example, when my brother was almost two years old, he was very tired but couldn't sleep, so he cried and waved wildly on the plane. That was the darkest three hours in my life ... < P > What preparations can parents make if they really want to take their children to travel abroad?
one: change your thinking
We often joke in our lives. Parents and children are in a state of fighting, so taking two out is called one dozen two, and parents who see one dozen, three dozen, one dozen and four can only look with infinite respect and admiration. But before I went out recently, I always said to myself and my children, "Dear babies, you are the best little traveling companions of mom and dad! We may meet something together. When we need your cooperation, I hope we can think of each other, cooperate with each other and go out to play happily together, ok? Children are our younger traveling companions and small partners who need to be taken care of. In order to make everyone travel more comfortable and happy, it is a gentle performance to think more about them or design a trip, even if it is going out with friends or elders! Do a good job in psychological construction first, and you will not feel that parents and children are fighting each other (big mistakes).
two: prepare for what you want
people over three years old can basically be called people, and they are more able to prepare things for getting on the plane or killing boring time according to their children's interests. For example, my son likes all kinds of cars and trains. When I was younger, I would bring several sticker books and some small puzzles. tomica trolley is also very easy to pick up at any time. Colored pens, paper and snacks, bubble blowing or frisbee are all small toys that are easy to carry (in fact, all of them are also very heavy. Haha, but the same small toy may be worth twenty minutes of angel time! )。
things to carry are prepared according to what children like very much at ordinary times. I went to Japan twice because my son began to like graffiti. I also prepared a small notebook for him (thanks to my sister's good idea). Parents should be reminded that children may easily collapse and cry because of losing their pens (personal history of blood and tears), so before going to Japan for the second time, I bought a magnet pen holder for my son and daughter (if there are a few, I will buy a few copies or I will be full just to solve the children's quarrels), so that children can better store brushes. Sitting down and doodling when you are tired of walking is actually quite slow, and children can always do something.
If you like to watch cartoons, you can also catch cartoons in the ipad or watch movies directly on the plane. This time, I also prepared some explanations of the scenic spots we are going to and the means of transportation we will take (I made a simple travel manual with PPT), which I introduced to my son when my daughter was asleep and free, and I can also pick it up for review or reference information during the trip. At this age, you can look forward to it ~ give the imagination of happiness in the future. Children will be very excited when they see the real thing during the trip. Further, there may be more in-depth problems, which will also be a great topic between parents and children.
There are also books about the airport, which I think are also very useful. You can introduce them before going out and guide your children at the airport: Look, this is the luggage conveyor belt painted in the book. Is this design very convenient without manual handling? When they can combine books with real life, he really gains that knowledge.
