What is Trump's request to the Supreme Court to restore the travel ban?

According to foreign media reports, the Trump administration requested the US Supreme Court to resume its travel ban at 1 local time. The travel ban was controversial because it prohibited citizens of six Muslim countries from entering the country, and was resisted by local courts.

According to the report, a spokesman for the US Department of Justice said, "We have asked the Supreme Court to hear this important case and believe that President Trump issued a travel ban to ensure national security and protect people from terrorism within his administrative power."

The spokesman also said that the president cannot accept citizens from countries that support or shelter terrorism unless he can be sure that citizens of these countries will not pose a security threat to the United States after proper review.

It is reported that Trump signed a revised administrative order on immigration restrictions on March 6, deleting Iraq from the original list, but still suspending the US refugee reception plan 120 days, and temporarily prohibiting citizens of Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Somalia and Libya from entering the country within 90 days.
