Yongshun county tourist attractions

Yongshun County, adjacent to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, has six unique scenic spots. Mengdonghe Scenic Area is one of the key scenic spots in Hunan Province. The protection and development of Laosicheng site is progressing smoothly, and it has successfully entered China to declare the World Cultural Heritage Protection List. The expansion of Tawo Martyrs Cemetery and the construction of revolutionary cultural relics protection project have been started, and the activities of "Sheba Festival" and "Going to the World Heritage Site and Meeting the Old Secretary City" in China Tujia (Xiangxi) furong town Scenic Area have been successfully held. A number of tourism infrastructures in furong town Scenic Area have been built and put into use. Mengdong River Rafting Scenic Spot and furong town Scenic Spot have successfully established national 4A-level scenic spots, the archaeological site of Laosicheng, furong town, Mengdong River Rafting and Xiaoxi Eco-tourism Scenic Spot.

Hibiscus Town

Furong town in Yongshun County is an ancient town with a history of 2,000 years. Located on the shore of Youshui, 5 1 km away from the county seat. Originally the county seat of Youyang County in the Western Han Dynasty, it was convenient to go to Sichuan and Guizhou for Dongting. It has been a trading port of Yongshun since ancient times and is known as the "Golden Boy of Chu and Shu". It enjoys the titles of Youyang Xiongzhen, Xiangxi "Four Famous Towns" and "Little Nanjing". "Old Tang Book" said: rustic and furry, there are poisonous weeds and sand snakes on the mountain. People live on the first floor and climb stairs for dry fences.

Laosicheng

Laosicheng is located in Sicheng Village, Macha Township, more than 20 kilometers east of the county seat. This ancient city, whose real name is Faust City, is also called Sicheng and Laosicheng because it was the ancient capital ruled by the Tusi Dynasty for 800 years. During the Tusi period, Faust City was the political, economic and cultural center of Xi Gu. Folk say that the old city is divided into inner Luocheng and outer Luocheng, with eight streets and ten lanes criss-crossing. Tusi ancient tombs are mostly concentrated in Zijinshan, Cliff Lawn and Batong Lake in Zicheng, among which Zijinshan is the most. The tombs of some famous chieftains in the Ming Dynasty, such as Peng Xianying and Peng Jinan, are still well preserved. These ancient tombs are now key cultural relics protection units in Hunan Province.

Red zone tawo

The central tower of the Hunan-Hubei-Sichuan-Guizhou Revolutionary Base is located in the northeast of Yongshun County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, with an east diameter of 109'45 "and a north latitude of 29'20', with an average elevation of 380m, an east-west diameter of 17.5km and a width of 20km from north to south. It is connected to Luotaping Township, Yongding County, Zhangjiajie City in the east, Kesha Township, Yongshun County in the south, Wanping District, Yongshun County in the west and Lifuta Town, Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie City in the north, with a total area of 350.2 square kilometers. 1983, the people's government of Hunan Province announced Yongshun Tawo as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit.

The first drift in the world

The Mengdong River Drifting Scenic Spot in Yongshun County is located in Sihe River, a tributary of Mengdong River, with a total length of 47 kilometers. The highlight is located in the section from Hanigon to Lu Niu, about17km long. Both sides of the scenic spot are mostly primitive secondary forests, lush and fast-flowing. full of green has the reputation of Shili Cliff, Shili Waterfall, Shili Picture Scroll and Shili Cave. Among them, there are 20 rapids 108 and waterfalls. Mengdonghe Pinghu scenic spot

Pinghu Scenic Area of Mengdong River is located in the lower reaches of Mengdong River, with a total length of 45 kilometers (including Youshui section) from Monkey Jumping to Longmen Gorge, which was formed due to the completion of Fengtan Hydropower Station in the lower reaches of Youshui River and the rising reservoir water. Stone walls stand on both sides of Pinghu, including Longmen Gorge, Guanyin Cave, Bayinshi Gua Cave, Jinshi Cave, Yuanyang Gorge, Jinchan Cave, Broken Back Stone, Sanyingding Temple, Xiaolongdong, Shengda Gorge, Yinyang Shenfeng Tunnel, Monkey Jump, Fairy Gorge, Romantic Rock and Laosiyan, which are listed as one of the top ten scenic spots in Hunan.

In the valleys on both sides of Mengdonghe Natural Botanical Garden, there are water bottles and mandarin ducks in Mengdonghe. Besides monkeys, there are roe deer, muntjac, white flour, hedgehog, mink and wild boar. There are many snakes in the valley and many fish in the river, among which giant salamander, tuanchu (turtle) and mandarin fish are unique to Mengdong River.

Boermen National Forest Park

Buermen Scenic Area is one of the national forest parks and Buddhist resorts in the province. Located on the Mengdong River, south of the county seat 1.5 kilometers, with a total area of 30 square kilometers, it is the north gate of Mengdong River Scenic Area. It features grotesque rocks, hot springs, stone carvings and worship of Guanyin. A stone carving of Qinghai in four characters on the side of the mountain, an eight-array map called ecstasy town, is amazing. The Story of Wulong Mountain Scenic Resort Fighting Bandits and the Story of Xiangxi Fighting Bandits were all filmed here.

Xiaoxi national nature reserve

Hunan Xiaoxi Eco-tourism Scenic Area is located in Xiaoxi National Nature Reserve, southeast of Yongshun County, adjacent to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Mengdonghe Scenic Area, with a total area of 24,800 hectares, of which the core area is 6 133 hectares. Xiaoxi National Nature Reserve is home to a large area of subtropical low-altitude evergreen broad-leaved forest. There are many rare plants in the area, including Davidia involucrata, Taxus chinensis, cypress and tapiscia sinensis. Xiaoxi National Nature Reserve has high scientific research value, and has been investigated and demonstrated by authoritative experts and scholars as the only treasure house of natural resources of primitive secondary forests without Quaternary glaciers in 13 provinces in central and southern China.
