The original and copy of my second-generation ID card and household register.

Photos and receipt of departure photo.

Applicants under the age of 16 who apply for documents without an ID card must first affix a photo on the application form and then go to the police station where their household registration is to have the photo stamped.

On May 19, 2014, the Ministry of Public Security announced the pilot launch of electronic travel passes to Hong Kong and Macao in Guangdong; starting from May 20, Guangdong residents can apply for and renew digital personal data and fingerprint information. The Exit and Entry Administration Department of the Chinese Public Security Bureau has fully launched the electronic travel pass to Hong Kong and Macau (i.e. the 2014 version of the Hong Kong and Macau Travel Permit) since September 15, 2014.
