Red Tourism Resources in Zhoushan Town

Zhoushan town has a red history of more than 70 years. According to "Zhoushan Township Revolution" and "Jiangsu Martyrs English Directory", 1 19 revolutionary martyrs have emerged one after another, and their heroic deeds are well-known in Zhoushan town. Zhouzhuang Campaign Memorial Hall, Lujiaduo Campaign Memorial Hall, Zhoushan Martyrs Sacrifice Memorial Hall, Wubao Anti-Japanese Democratic School Site, Zhoushan Martyrs Cemetery, Zhoushan Martyrs Memorial Hall, Wu Jiabao "July 19th" Massacre Memorial Square and other red resources in Zhoushan Town 10, including 2 municipal cultural relics protection units. In addition, there are nearly 10 villages and groups named after revolutionary martyrs such as Guang Zhi, Deben and Zhou Kun. In recent years, in order to effectively inherit the red history, Zhoushan Town has taken Zhoushan Martyrs Cemetery as the carrier, carefully packaged and designed, continuously enriched the historical, cultural, spiritual and ideological connotation of the red Zhoushan, and combined with accelerating the infrastructure construction of the old revolutionary base areas, effectively integrated the scattered red resource points in the town into a pearl chain, and successively won more than 4 million yuan to repair and protect revolutionary historical sites such as Zhoushan Martyrs Cemetery and Zhouzhuang Campaign Memorial Site.

Today, it is an influential patriotic education base, a clean government culture education base and a national defense education base in Gaoyou, and it is also the only township martyrs cemetery in Yangzhou.
