What are the job responsibilities related to the Tourism Bureau?

(a) to implement the principles, policies and regulations of the State Council and the autonomous region, Hohhot and the government on the development of tourism.

(two) responsible for the management, coordination and guidance of the development of tourism in the region, formulate the development strategy of tourism in the region, formulate the medium-and long-term and annual plans for the development of tourism in the region and organize their implementation.

(three) to create a good image of urban tourism, and to organize urban tourism activities; Organize and coordinate holiday travel.

(four) responsible for tourism publicity, in conjunction with the relevant departments to manage and guide domestic tourism, overseas tourism, outbound tourism and inbound tourism; Organize the publicity and major promotion activities of the overall image of urban tourism; Organize and guide the development of important tourism products in conjunction with relevant departments; Guide the market development of local tourism enterprises.

(five) to organize a general survey of tourism resources, and to make overall planning, coordination, supervision and management of the protection and development of tourism resources in the whole region according to law; Organize and guide the planning, development and construction of key tourist areas in the region in conjunction with relevant departments; Take the lead in approving new tourism projects in conjunction with relevant departments; Organize the implementation of tourism statistics.

(six) the industry management of tourist attractions (spots), tourist hotels, travel agencies, travel service companies, tourist fitness and entertainment places, coaches, etc. According to law; Organize the implementation of facilities and service standards for national tourist attractions, tourist accommodation, travel agencies, coaches and special tourism projects.

(seven) to manage, inspect and supervise the tourism market according to law. Supervise and inspect the order of the tourism market and the quality of tourism services, accept complaints from tourists and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of tourists.

(eight) to guide the construction of spiritual civilization in the tourism industry; Guide and manage tourism education and training; Guide the implementation of tourism professionals vocational qualification system and grade system.

(nine) the implementation of other matters assigned by the district party committee and district government.
