Travel from Zhuzhou to Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue, starting on the morning of New Year's Day and returning in the afternoon of 1 2.

I have climbed Nanyue three times, the last time was in July this year. The following are some of my experiences, which I hope will help you.

It takes about 20 minutes to take the high-speed train from Zhuzhou to Hengshan Station, and then it costs four yuan to transfer to CMB to Nanyue Town. There is a free bus to Nanyue Temple in the town, but the tickets in the temple are not cheap either. If you are not interested in burning incense and worshiping Buddha, you can change at the ticket office at the foot of the mountain (or walk, not far). The ticket price I went to in July this year was 100 yuan/person. If you want to see the sunrise, it is recommended to go into the mountain after lunch and live directly in the farmhouse at the foot of the scenic spot (30 yuan/person/night in the off-season is ok, or it can be halfway up the mountain, but the price is expensive). Pack your bags and walk to the mountainside in the afternoon. There are many scenic spots near the mountainside. Dining in the scenic spot is still relatively expensive, so it is recommended to bring more instant noodles and biscuits. There is a bus that goes directly to a place with poor scenic spots. The set meal seems to be 80 yuan. Get up at about four o'clock the next morning after buying a bag and wait for the bus on the main road (not every station has a fixed station, please pay attention in advance or ask the hotel owner). When we get to a poor place, we have to walk, and we should be able to climb to the Japanese observation deck in half an hour. Zhurongfeng is the peak of Nanyue Mountain. Don't miss the sunrise. When it's all over, go to the worse gate and take the free bus back, over ~
