Zhang Yimou's Impression Series I consists of four parts, namely Impression Hainan Island, Impression Sanjie Liu, Impression Lijiang River and Impression West Lake.

Impression of Sanjie Liu is a large-scale Guilin landscape performance, which is the core project of China Lijiang Landscape Theatre. Impression Sanjie Liu embodies a distinctive luxury style, and adopts the largest environmental art lighting project and unique smoke effect project in China to create a poetic and dreamlike visual effect. Traditional performances are performed in the limited space of the theater, and this kind of performance takes nature as the real stage. Looking around, the water of Lijiang River and the mountains of Guilin have become Center Stage, giving people a broad vision and a sense of detachment.

Traditional stage performance is the creation of human beings, while "landscape performance" is the creation of human beings and God. In Impression of Sister Liu, the looming peaks, the reflection of water mirrors, the embellishment of misty rain, the singing of bamboo forests and the moonlight will all enter the performance at any time and become wonderful episodes. On the Lijiang River on a sunny day, the reflection of the breeze is particularly charming; But the misty Lijiang River gives people another kind of beautiful enjoyment.
