Composition on visiting the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum

Author/Zhu Zhoutao

The Science and Technology Museum is truly a famous tourist attraction in Shanghai.

In the morning, my father and I came to the Science and Technology Museum early. Although the museum only opened at 9 o'clock, we were amazed by the spectacular appearance of the Science and Technology Museum. The tall and wide glass curtain wall sparkles, the eaves are beautifully designed, and the large spherical building in the middle clearly reflects the surrounding scenery, with a broad view and majestic momentum. Before the "crowds" arrived, I rushed to the supermarket to buy some bread and water, planning to stay out of the museum at noon and have fun all day long.

The sound of the clock striking nine is really the most beautiful sound, the museum is open! Check the ticket, check the package. Like a rabbit, I quickly entered the museum with my father. As soon as I walked in, I couldn't help but stick out my tongue - OMG! Specimens of large wild animals are brought to life. Golden monkeys wearing "golden fur" jump on the treetops. The elephant is like a gentle elder, with its tusks bent forward, its huge ears like two cattail fans, and its bright eyes looking straight ahead. It is really a giant! The giraffe's neck almost touched the ceiling, and a baby giraffe looked intently at the side. A leopard enjoys its trophy in a tree while the rest of the herd attacks a deer. The Siberian tiger looks like a king, leaping out of the grass to hunt. The African lion is standing on a huge rock, truly "alone and begging for defeat". The hippo opened its mouth big enough to fit a wooden chair. Not to be outdone, the crocodile displays its sharp teeth, which is frightening. Polar bears ambush seals on the ice, like the masters of the Arctic. Walking through waterfalls and rainforests, there is a unique cave.

The insect world is dizzying. In the Bat Cave, you can see hundreds of bats hiding in the dark, making eerie calls; in the Butterfly Valley, you can see thousands of flying butterflies dancing in all kinds of colors. Giant pythons circle the rocks, beetles perch on the rocks, lizards and scorpions crouch on the ground, and giant tortoises move their feet. It is so wonderful and interesting that it is difficult to describe it in words; cranes are singing, sheep are eating grass, schools of fish are swimming, hundreds of birds are singing in harmony, and thousands of I am so impressed by this sentence that it is difficult to express it in pen and ink. Stepping on the elevator, the second floor is even more exciting.

Robots are truly omnipotent. I failed miserably in chess and archery. I was no match for them. I played, played, sang, and danced, and the robots were omnipotent. The wonderful performance made people sincerely marvel at the magic of modern technology. It is believed that with the rapid development of science and technology, the application of robots will become more widespread.

On the third floor, rocket and satellite models are staggeredly arranged in different shapes; the nuclear power reactor model is exquisite and detailed, attracting people to stop. Various classic experimental demonstrations make some abstruse and obscure theories easy to understand. Here, I also sat on a swivel chair that simulated weightlessness. Sitting on it, I felt like everything was turned upside down and dizzy. I was always worried that my seat belt was not fastened tightly. When participating in various activities, I also learned to line up and wait.

It is also worth mentioning the various forms of "performances". There are many free theaters in the museum. We watched "The Theory of Relativity", "The Creation of Particle Theory", "Changes of the Environment", etc. and learned a lot of knowledge. Finally, we had enough time to watch a movie in the dome theater. It was the first time to see a spherical screen that covered the entire venue, and I was very excited. The picture when the stars were shining was so beautiful. I finally experienced what it means to be "immersed in the scene". At 3:30 in the afternoon, we reluctantly said goodbye to the Science and Technology Museum.
