Where is Heiyan Village?

Heiyan Village is located at the southern end of Shuangjiang River, 0/3 km away from Jiangkou County/KLOC-,and it is one of Gaopo Villages under the jurisdiction of Shuangjiang River, with an altitude of 600 meters. The topography of the whole village is gentle slope, which is a typical karst landform. The annual rainfall is 1 100 ml, and the frost-free period is 300 days, which belongs to subtropical humid climate. The southern part of Heiyan Village borders Minhe Township, and the other three sides are adjacent to Shikai Village of this town.

At the end of the year, the total population was 1057, and ethnic minorities accounted for 90%. There were 602 laborers in the village, including 252 women. Ethnic minorities such as Dong, Tu and Miao live in the territory, and the cultivated land area is 1460 mu, of which 460 mu are cultivated land, all of which depend on the weather for food. The forest coverage rate is 32%.

Heiyan Village Committee was established in July 2007 with a total investment of more than 60,000 yuan. It consists of the Party branch committee of Heiyan Village, the villagers committee of Heiyan Village and the activity place for the elderly. Near Heiyan Village, there are tourist attractions such as Fanjingshan (Yinjiang River Estuary) Tourist Area, Yamugou Scenic Area, Zhasha Dongzhai, Heiwan River Scenic Area and Yunshe Tujia Folk Culture Village. There are Jiangkou radish pig, social rice, Jiangkou rice tofu, Jiangkou dried tofu, rattan tea and other specialties.
