Is Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon fun?

Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon Natural Scenery Tourist Area (National Forest Park) is located in the southeast of Huguan County, Shanxi Province, 250 kilometers away from Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, 280 kilometers away from Zhengzhou City, Henan Province and 300 kilometers away from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. The tourist area covers an area of 93 square kilometers and the forest and grass coverage rate reaches 74.9%. Thousands of peaks compete, and thousands of valleys compete for wonders. The unique topography, landforms and rare animal and plant resources have created the strangest natural scenery of Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon.

Taihang Mountain Grand Canyon is located at the junction of Shanxi and Henan provinces. There are many scenic spots in the canyon, which is famous for its strange dangers. In recent years, through the vigorous publicity and development in Huguan County, the scenic spots such as Zituan Cave, Shibapan, Heilongtan, Zhenze Palace and Hongdu Gorge have become familiar to people one after another.

Specific route-Starting from Huguan County, there are two ways to visit the scenic spot:

The first route: the county town is about 20km south along the Zhao Si line, goes to Yinling Highway, 36km east along Yinling Highway to reach the famous Shibapan Scenic Area, 3km east, gets off Yinling Road and 3km south to reach Heilongtan Scenic Area. There are Zituan Cave and Zhenze Palace along this line. Return to Yinling Road from the original route, and continue to drive eastward for 4-5 kilometers, that is, to Hongdouxia Scenic Area. Yinling Road on this line is a county-level highway with more heavy vehicles, with a daily flow of more than 3,000 vehicles, and the road is tight.

Another route: from the county seat to the east, along changping line to Tonkin Ridge, and then continue to go south along this line. When you arrive in Fu Tou, you can go to Zhenze Palace and Zituan Cave. Turn west from Fu Tou to a toll station to Heilongtan, continue along this line to Yinling Road, and then walk east along Yinling Road for 4-5 kilometers to Hongdu Gorge. Although this route is a little far, there are few vehicles on the road, and you can enjoy all the scenic spots along the way.
