Introduction to Hepu Town

Hepu Town is a township-level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Luotian County, Huanggang City, Hubei Province. It is located in the northwest of Luotian, on the bank of the Xinchang River at the southern foot of the Dabie Mountains, intersecting with Macheng in the west and Bodaofeng National Park in the north. It borders Forest Park, Fengshan Town to the east, and Pinghu Township to the south. It has jurisdiction over 40 administrative villages with 56,000 people and a territory of 210 square kilometers. Hepu is well-known as the hometown of chestnuts, silkworms, sweet persimmons and bamboo. It has a wide variety of special agricultural resources with excellent quality. It is adjacent to Dabie Mountain National Forest Park, Shizigou Terraces, Jin Basin, Thousand Buddha Temple, Jinshi Village, Dabie Mountain Chestnut Park, Dabie Mountain Natural Bathing Beach, Longtan Cave Rafting, Wuyun Village, Duzun Mountain and other tourist attractions. It is a pearl in the hinterland of Dabie Mountains. The local economy of Hepu Town, a hot spot for entrepreneurship, has begun to take shape.
