About visiting Lugu Lake

Only cars can enter Lugu Lake.

Enter from Lijiang or Xichang. Generally, most people go to Lugu Lake from Lijiang. Take the bus from Lijiang to Lugu Lake at Lijiang Passenger Terminal. There is a direct bus to Lugu Lake every morning, but there is no bus in the afternoon. It is recommended that you book one day in advance. You can also buy a shuttle bus to Ninglang first, and then take Ninglang to Lugu Lake.

Lugu Lake accommodation is concentrated in Daluoshui and Lige. It is recommended that you book in advance.

The total length of Lugu Lake is about 70 kilometers. You can rent a bicycle to go around the lake, participate in Mosuo singing and dancing, and walk on the wedding bridge. The scenery on the Goddess Bay and Zhaojia Bay side of Lugu Lake is more beautiful.
